Welcome to this full moon and taurus guided meditation.
As I am sure you have noticed,
The world outside is shifting.
The air is cooler,
The nights are longer,
And with each passing day we can see nature slowing down a bit.
This month's full moon is known as the beaver moon,
Because November was traditionally the time when beavers prepared their homes and stored food for the winter.
This is the second of three supermoons in a row,
So we will see the moon shine larger and brighter than usual.
The full moon and taurus is about grounding,
Stability and gratitude.
It is going to ask you to slow down,
Feel your own strength and focus on what truly nourishes you.
This moon is a reminder to release anything that undermines your sense of security,
And to open yourself to abundance,
Patience and steady growth.
Take a few deep breaths before we start the visualisation.
Picture yourself standing at the edge of a very still lake on an autumnal evening.
Above you is the glorious supermoon.
The water mirrors its round,
Brilliant face,
Rippling slightly with a whisper of wind.
The scenery around you feels hushed,
Suspended in this quiet,
Sacred moment.
Feel the moonlight gently brush across your skin.
This feels really warming,
It's as if it is wrapping you in a deep blanket of peace and comfort.
With each inhale,
Draw that light into your body,
Allowing it to fill you with clarity and strength.
With each exhale,
Allow yourself to soften just a little bit more.
I am going to ask you now to bring to mind something you want to release.
This might be an old habit or a fear,
Perhaps a doubt that has been weighing heavily on you,
Something that you feel is undermining your sense of security.
I'm going to give you some time now to get really clear on what it is that you want to release with this supermoon.
Imagine what you're ready to release as an autumn leaf resting in your hand,
Freshly fallen from the tree.
The tree has already let go,
Trusting the natural cycle of release,
And now it is your turn to do the same.
Hold this leaf with gentle awareness,
Honouring what it has meant for you,
The lessons it carried and the weight it may have held.
Perhaps you have more than one thing to let go of this month,
And if you do,
See a few leaves in your palms,
Each one holding something you're ready to release.
Gently place your leaf or leaves onto the surface of the lake.
Watch as they float for a moment,
Catching the moonlight,
And then begin to disappear.
See the ripples spread across the water,
Carrying away your worries and burdens.
Feel your chest lighten,
Your shoulders drop,
And your breath deepen.
Watch as the moon responds to this moment,
You see its glow intensify,
Becoming a soft golden light that begins to drift toward you,
Warm and inviting.
This light is abundance,
And carries the quiet steady energy of Taurus.
It is here to fill the spaces you've just emptied.
Feel the golden light enter through your heart,
Spreading through your chest,
Flowing down your arms,
To your belly,
Your legs,
Your feet,
Until your entire being glows with radiant warmth under the moonlight.
Try to connect to this luminous gold light in you,
Filling every space available with peace,
Comfort,
And abundance.
Take a moment to simply be in this moment.
Say silently to yourself,
I have released what no longer serves me.

You can stretch gently if that feels right for you,
And take a final deep breath.
