This new moon is a quite unique as it’s the second new moon in Virgo this year. Last month we explored intentions, forgiveness and intuition and this month the focus is on presence. This rare second new moon in Virgo offers us another chance to connect to this energy and through presence we can find real clarity. Take a moment to really settle into this space.

Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath.

Allow your body to soften and really try to relax.

Feel the weight of yourself here,

In this moment.

There is nothing to fix,

Nothing to chase,

Nothing to do.

Just enjoy the quiet presence of now.

This is your time to come back to yourself and leave with clarity.

This new moon is a little unusual,

As it's the second new moon in Virgo this year.

Normally there's one new moon in each zodiac sign each year,

But because the lunar cycle is about 29.

5 days,

It doesn't line up perfectly with our 12-month calendar.

This means a zodiac sign can sometimes hold two new moons in the same year.

It's a rare reminder to pause again and notice with care what is already here.

And with this second new moon in Virgo meditation,

We are going to focus on being fully present and letting clarity arise naturally from stillness.

Each month,

The new moon gives us an opportunity to pause,

Be still,

And embrace the darkness and the unknown,

And then hopefully move forward with clarity and intention.

Bring your attention inward now.

Imagine a warm,

Steady light at the centre of your chest.

Maybe your light is green or a shimmery gold.

Perhaps it's white.

Just trust whatever colour comes to you,

As it won't be the same for everyone.

This is your inner light,

And with every inhale,

Feel it expand softly through your body.

With every exhale,

Just let it settle a little bit deeper.

Bring your awareness now to your feet.

Feel them resting on the floor or on your chair.

Whatever surface you are on,

Try to feel supported and grounded,

And just really held in this moment.

Sense every point of contact,

The weight of your body with the subtle pressure of what you are sitting on.

Move your attention now slowly up through your legs.

Feel your muscles and bones,

The spaces in between.

Notice the energy moving gently through them,

And if you notice any tension,

Just simply allow it to soften.

Just melt into the quiet support of the surface you are on.

Continue by moving your awareness now to your hips and lower back.

Feel the stability here.

Imagine the warm light from your centre shining down into these areas,

Filling them with a real sense of peace and balance.

Bring your focus now to your torso,

Your chest,

Your back.

Connect to the warmth of the light growing steadily,

Illuminating the spaces inside you.

Feel the light move into your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your hands.

If you are holding any tension in those areas of your body,

Just allow them to soften and let go of any tightness.

Feel how your inner light reaches every fingertip.

Feel as the light now expands to your neck,

Your throat,

Your jaw,

Your face.

It's warming,

Peaceful and empowering.

Imagine your awareness moving through your body just like the gentle current of your inner light.

Your awareness touches every space available,

The known and the subtle,

The active and the still,

It doesn't force or change anything,

It just illuminates everything.

Your thoughts,

Your feelings,

Your sensations,

This helps you see clearly,

Without any judgement or any attachment.

Notice how clarity is growing naturally from this presence.

This is always here and always available to you,

Gently waiting in the quiet,

In the quiet,

In the stillness,

In the steady rhythm of your mind,

Body and spirit.

Let your inner light grow warmer and steadier as it fills every corner of your awareness.

I'm going to give you some time now to enjoy this stillness and just be open to anything that comes to you without any judgement.

Now that you are hopefully feeling clearer,

I'm going to ask you to set one simple intention.

Don't force this,

Just pick one thing you want to bring into this space.

Maybe a way of being,

A small lifestyle change,

Or a new focus that feels natural and aligned to you right now.

See it gently forming in the centre of your inner light like a soft,

Steady flame.

Just let it exist in the calm you've created and let this piece carry your intention effortlessly.

Let yourself rest fully in the rhythm of your breath,

Just rest in this clarity.

Spend a few more moments simply being here,

Noticing any changes you feel,

However subtle,

That come from being present.

Just awareness,

Stillness and the quiet flame of your intention.

You may want to think about one action that will support your intention and it might also help to write this down as a commitment.

A reminder that you are carrying it with you into the month ahead.

As this meditation begins to come to a close,

Gently bring your attention back to your whole body,

Here in the room.

Feel your points of contact with the floor or chair.

Take a long,

Deep inhale and a slow,

Steady exhale.

Open your eyes softly,

Carrying this sense of calm,

Grounded awareness and the clarity of your intention into the rest of your day,

Week,

Month and beyond.
