Allowing in only what serves you well.
It's a simple yet powerful way to honour and care for yourself,
And it's always here for you whenever you need to recharge or reset.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Let go of any tension as you continue to breathe naturally.
Bring your attention to the area around your heart,
Feeling the rhythm of your breath gently rising and falling.
This is your centre,
The place where your energy lives,
A place you can always come back to,
To feel grounded and strong.
Imagine a soft glowing light beginning to form at the centre of your chest.
Notice its colour.
Maybe it's a warm golden light,
Or it could be a calming shade of blue.
Maybe it's a deep grounding green.
Trust the colour that feels right for you,
Because this won't be the same for everybody.
Allow this light to grow,
Expanding outward,
Filling your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your legs,
Your head,
Your hands,
Your feet.
Observe this light growing throughout your entire body,
Protecting you with its warmth.
This light holds the essence of your energy,
Radiating out from you,
Strong and resilient.
With each breath,
Imagine this light forming a gentle shield around your body.
See it expand to surround you completely,
Creating a safe,
Protective bubble.
This shield lets in only the energy that serves you,
That uplifts and supports you,
And keeps out anything that feels heavy,
Draining or negative.
Feel the strength of this shield.
Notice how it feels to be inside it,
Safe,
Calm,
Centred.
This is your personal boundary,
A safe space where your energy is preserved and protected.
When you find yourself in situations or with people that drain your energy,
Remember that you have this shield.
You can always strengthen it,
Brighten it,
And use it to protect yourself.
Breathe away that negative energy and do not allow it into this shield or into your body.
Notice how you feel within this shield of light.
Perhaps there is a sense of ease,
Of peace,
Of balance.
This shield is there to make you feel protected and safe.
Begin to deepen your breath now.
Gently move your fingers and toes,
Bringing awareness back into the present space.
And slowly open your eyes,
Knowing that your energy is safe,
Protected and entirely your own.
As we close this practice,
Take a moment to feel the strength of this shield you've created around you.
Know that it is always here and you can call upon it whenever you feel your energy needs support.
This shield allows you to engage with the world and keep your energy protected,
Grounded and whole.
