Third Eye is a gift from life.
It's the gift you receive when you travel the long path of both your external and internal reality towards the Self.
Roshan Sharma Begin by sitting in your normal meditation posture,
Preferably cross-legged on the floor,
And if that's difficult,
Sit on a chair with your back and your shoulders straight.
Or if you wish,
You could also lie down.
No matter what position you are,
Just close your eyes,
Calm your body and mind,
And take a few deep breaths.
Take one more long and deep breath,
And as you exhale,
Move your attention to the center of your forehead,
In between the bras and just above the brow line.
And imagine an indigo blue light.
This dark indigo glow of the chakra illuminates your mind,
And then gently and slowly spreads to the rest of your body.
See your whole body covered with that indigo blue light.
Imagine an entrance to your mind through the Third Eye.
You open the door and walk into an empty room.
Feel free to decorate the room any way you like.
Choose your color,
Decor,
Look and feel.
Make it in a way it suits your taste,
So that it becomes your personal sanctuary.
Start with the four walls and visualize the color you want for the walls.
Do you have any pictures to hang on the walls?
Think about the floor.
Is it carpet or wood or tile?
How about furniture?
Make the room beautiful,
Cozy,
Colorful and inviting.
Now find the most comfortable spot in the room and sit down.
You look out onto the world from there.
Bring into focus the thoughts,
Issues,
Situations and ideas that occupy your day-to-day life.
You silently contemplate upon them.
Now see your Third Eye chakra spinning and gaining strength.
As it spins faster,
The chakra's indigo light washes over you and fills every cell,
Every pore in your body with its energy.
Breathe deeply and feel the energy bursting forth from your Third Eye as rays of dazzling,
Deep blue light.
Rest in this awareness for a little while,
Slowly breathing in and out.
Now repeat after me,
Out loud or inwardly,
The following affirmations three times.
I see my life's purpose clearly.
I am connected to the spiritual world.
I am open to the truths of the universe.
I am connected to the divine within.
I see my life's purpose clearly.
I am connected to the spiritual world.
I am open to the truths of the universe.
I am connected to the divine within.
I see my life's purpose clearly.
I am connected to the spiritual world.
I am open to the truths of the universe.
I am connected to the divine within.
Now see yourself gently standing up and walking to the door through which you entered the room.
Walk out and look back at your inner sanctuary.
Feel one with it.
It will always be there,
A safe and comfortable place for you to go back every day,
Even if for ten minutes.
Come back to the room you are in,
To here and now.
Stretch your body and when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Welcome back,
From my heart to yours,
With all my love and gratitude.
Namaste.
