Welcome to day eight of the hormonal health challenge here on Insight Timer.
Hormonal changes can affect how you feel,
Think and get through the day.
Today we'll explore a simple strategy to help you feel more supported through those changes.
Let's jump in.
Hello and welcome to Day 8.
My name is Ipek Williamson and this is the final day of our Hormonal Health Challenge.
Seven days ago,
You started paying attention to something most people spend a lifetime ignoring.
You named the fog.
You sat with the low days.
You noticed the cravings,
The waves,
The ache,
The rage.
And you kept showing up.
Today we turn toward the body itself.
These shoulders that hold more than anyone else can see This belly that feels unfamiliar some mornings.
Today we offer them something simple.
Warmth.
No conditions attached.
Let's begin.
I invite you to find a position that feels supported.
Let your eyes close or soften your gaze.
Take a full breath in.
And let it out slowly.
Bring your attention to your shoulders.
Notice what they carry.
Tension.
Wait.
Just notice.
Without needing to fix.
Or change anything.
Silently offer these words to your shoulders.
May you rest.
May you set down what belongs somewhere else.
Move your attention to your belly This part of you may feel unpredictable some days.
Bloated.
Soar Slow to cooperate.
Offer it the same warmth.
And say after me.
May you be met with patience.
May you be trusted even on the days you feel unfamiliar.
Now bring to mind whatever part of your body has felt hardest to be with this week.
It might be a place that aches.
It might be your mind on the days the fog rolls in.
Just speak to that place directly.
I see you.
I am meeting you today instead of fighting you.
May you feel some ease.
Let that warmth spread wider now.
Through your chest.
Your hands.
Your legs.
All the way down to your feet.
Your body has already done enough to deserve this kindness.
So stay here for a moment with your body.
Just breathing.
Just present.
As you sit here,
Let your mind turn toward the idea of transition.
Think of it in the small,
Ordinary sense.
The kind your body moves through all the time.
And ask yourself,
What might this season be making room for?
You don't need an answer right now.
Just let the questions sit with you.
And think about what you want to carry forward from this week.
Maybe it's patience.
Maybe it's a new way of listening when your body speaks.
Maybe it's simply the practice of turning toward instead of away.
Whatever it is,
Let it settle in.
Take one more breath before you open your eyes.
And return to where you are.
You showed up for 8 days and paid attention to something most people never stop to notice.
That matters.
No matter what this week actually looked like for you.
What you practiced here goes beyond one diagnosis or one hormonal story.
Tuning in,
Offering yourself compassion.
Meeting a hard moment instead of pushing against it.
These are skills that travel with you.
They will still be useful next month,
Next year,
In whatever chapter comes after this one.
So take them with you.
Reach for them on the days you need them most.
Thank you for spending these eight days here.
It has been a privilege to share this space with you.
And congratulations on completing the challenge.
Namaste,
Beautiful Insight Timer community.
