Namo Amituofo — 108 Chants Of Infinite Grace
Namo Amituofo is one of the most ancient and beloved chants in Pure Land Buddhism. A devotional salutation to Amitabha Buddha, the Buddha of Infinite Light and Infinite Life, it carries within it the energy of compassion, purification, and boundless grace. To chant it is to call upon that light and invite it into every cell of your being. In this practice, we chant Namo Amituofo together 108 times. The number 108 is sacred across Buddhist and Hindu traditions, representing the full cycle of existence and the path toward liberation. Each repetition is a bead on an invisible mala, drawing you deeper into stillness, presence, and peace. You do not need to be Buddhist to receive the gift of this chant. Simply follow the voice, let your lips move when they are ready, and allow the sound to do what sound has always done. Heal. Purify. Return you home.
