Welcome to this morning gratitude practice.
I love offering this practice as a way to start your day.
Feeling grateful?
And having an open heart.
Find a comfortable,
Supported position for your body.
Let's take a nice deep breath in through the nose.
And slowly exhale out of the mouth.
Close your eyes.
And turn off the rest of the world.
Take a deep breath in.
And slowly exhale it out.
Take a deep breath in.
And slowly exhale it out.
Let the mind clear.
Let yourself become present.
Settle the energy in your body.
Bring to mind one thing that you are grateful for.
One thing that brings you joy and happiness.
And supports your well-being in life.
This could be a person,
A place,
A thing.
Bring it to mind.
Let yourself envision it.
Now imagine your heart opening like a flower.
Your heart is opening to receive more gratitude.
From this thing.
You let yourself receive gratitude.
And then you let yourself send gratitude back.
Allow this to feel light and joyful.
Focus on the one thing that makes you happy.
The one thing that you're grateful for.
Feel your heart open.
Receiving gratitude and love and sending gratitude and love back.
Keep envisioning this person,
This place,
This one thing.
That truly makes you joyful.
That brings meaning.
Support,
And balance into your life.
How does it feel?
To receive that love from them.
How does it feel?
To be able to share that gratitude with them.
Notice the energy in your body.
As you practice gratitude.
Notice the quality of your breath.
Notice the direction that your mind is taking.
Continue to open your heart to the gratitude.
Receiving the love,
The joy,
The support from this one thing.
And sending the gratitude back.
Stack both hands on your heart.
Take three deep breaths.
With each inhale,
Repeating the mantra,
I am grateful.
I am grateful.
I am grateful.
Let's take a deep breath to close this morning gratitude meditation.
And at any point during the day,
If you start to feel a little trouble,
A little worry,
Come back to this gratitude.
Come back to the one thing.
That brings pure joy and happiness into your life.
Let's take a deep breath.
A big stretch.
Open the eyes.
And come into your day.
