This is a compassion meditation.
If you want you can either sit up or lay down in order to relax a little more into the present moment to bring some loving awareness to yourself.
Using this time to anchor back into yourself and also into being humble and at peace with yourself.
In times where there are happening so many things and we can do so much,
It can be nice to take this moment in order to bring some self love,
Awareness and compassion.
We are starting by bringing some deep breaths into our body,
Low towards our belly.
For a moment allow yourself to relax and to land in the present moment,
Feeling the surface underneath and every body part that's touching the ground.
Let yourself become a little heavier,
Relax your jaw,
Relax your shoulders and soften your belly.
Take contact now with the earth and imagine how you are growing roots out of your body into the earth,
Into the earth and low,
Becoming a little heavier.
And from those roots imagine how the earth is sending like the liquid light from the tips of the roots up and into your body.
The liquid light that is looking for its way through your body with every inhalation filling you up with some nourishment,
With loving awareness,
With the sense of it's all good,
You're doing great.
Even though sometimes things might seem difficult,
There is always some loving awareness in the background.
And letting yourself fill up with this liquid light that's streaming through your legs,
Up into your hips and looking for its way through your organs,
Into your heart.
Your heart space,
This very precious vulnerable space is filling up with the liquid light as well,
Maybe for you it has even a colour.
Sense of peace,
A sense of it's all okay.
The liquid light is looking for its way from your heart space expanding through your shoulders into your arms,
Let them become warm,
Let them become alive up until your fingertips.
Now this liquid light is flowing higher and through your neck into your head,
Filling your brain with loving awareness and compassion.
The allowance you can relax for a moment,
It's all being taken care of.
Feel this liquid light streaming from the tips of the roots up into your whole body,
As if you're glowing and the liquid light is extending out of your body,
You become wider with every breath.
You're filling your room with this light,
You're filling every aspect of yourself and every cell,
Even though they might feel as shadows,
They're meeting some compassion.
Imagine extending this light even further if you'd like,
Let it reach the mountains if you want,
Or making contact with the sun.
Now let yourself bath in this light,
In this sense as if someone is giving you a warm hug,
Maybe being in warm nature or being in pure bliss.
Now slowly bringing some awareness back to your heart,
Bringing both hands on your heart,
Feeling your heartbeat,
Tucking the chin down in gratitude towards yourself,
You're here,
Showing up for yourself,
You're doing the best you can,
And that is enough.
Keeping one hand on your heart and bringing the other one on your belly,
Now guiding the attention a little lower into your body again.
A few breaths in silence and in full body awareness.
Rooting yourself back into the earth and slowly start moving your body,
Curling your shoulders up to your ears and back,
And finishing off this meditation with a big stretch,
And when you're ready opening up the eyes,
Taking a mindful look around in the space where you are,
Seeing the shapes,
Colours,
Shadows and lights,
And keeping some of this loving energy inside and then continuing your day.
