Hello and good morning,

Good afternoon,

Good evening,

Wherever you are.

My name is Nana Jasi from Inner Mileage and I'm going to be guiding you through a brief meditation on affirming for yourself who you truly are.

Wherever you hear this,

Wherever you are on this planet at this time.

A key part of this practice is posture.

So I'd encourage you to sit,

Lie,

Stand,

Take any of these four postures,

Wherever you are.

Walk,

If you may.

And immediately become aware of your natural breathing,

The space between your upper lip and your nostrils.

Feel this recognition of your breath settle into your body.

Starting from the bottom,

Become aware of what's happening.

At the space of your feet,

What's happening with your heels.

How do they feel connected to the ground,

To your shoe,

To the floor?

If you're sitting or you're cross-legged,

How does it feel,

Wherever it is?

Bring your awareness to the top of your feet,

All the way up your ankles,

To your shin,

Calf,

Knee,

Left thigh,

And then to your sit bone.

Now repeat the same on your right foot,

Scanning what's happening at the base of your foot,

If you can,

If this is available to you.

Until the top of your feet and remember to keep breathing.

Bringing your attention to your shin,

Calves,

Knee,

Thighs,

Sit bone.

Be aware of your breathing and what's happening in your abdomen,

How it bellows up and down.

Feel your attention coming up to your heart space.

And at this point,

You can put your left hand on your heart,

If you can.

Feel your breath going in and out,

Connecting with your heart.

Know what place to be,

But here and now.

I'm going to repeat a few words of affirmation and I ask that you listen with your heart,

Not your ears.

Love I am.

Love I am enough.

Love I am that.

I am love.

Keep breathing.

Keep repeating this word to yourself silently,

As you remain connected to your breath and bring your attention to your throat,

Up to the space between your eyebrows or your third eye.

And finally,

To the crown of your head or the top of your head.

Feel connected to your breath.

And at this point,

I encourage you to think thoughts of gratitude for anything you want to be grateful for.

Your breath,

Some of your health,

All your health,

Your family,

This moment,

Your promotion,

Your demotion,

Whatever it is.

Stay with this feeling and throughout the day,

Whenever you can,

Find your breath,

Remind yourself you're alive.

I had a teacher once tell me the quality of your life is equal to the quality and depth of your breath.

Whenever you're ready,

Take a deep breath.

Gently open your eyes.

And remember,

You are directly available to yourself by connecting with your breath.

Thank you for spending time with yourself today.

I wish you peace and light.

All the best.

Meet your Teacher
