Hello everybody.
This is Dr.
Nanajasi from In A Mileage Coaching coming to you today with a simple meditation on cultivating emptiness.
Emptiness cultivating emptiness.
You might be thinking,
What is emptiness?
Is it the lack of space?
The lack of solidity?
Emptiness is actually your primordial position.
The position from which you recognize who you are and begin to create and understand who you are yourself is.
To get started,
I ask that you find yourself in a comfortable position whether you are sitting,
Standing or laying down.
In this position,
Give yourself permission to arrive.
Permission to be still.
Gently find your natural breath.
The easiest way to find your natural breath is to bring your full attention to your nostrils,
The area between your nostrils and your upper lip.
Just be aware of how you're breathing.
Noticing if your breath is deep,
Shallow,
Fast or slow.
Whatever method you're breathing with naturally,
Just observe that.
Notice the breathing.
And as you notice your breathing,
You'll immediately begin to notice that everything around you is slowing down.
You might become more aware of the sounds in your environment.
You might become more aware of the thoughts in your head.
You might be distracted by something you have to do.
Still,
Keep your attention to your natural breathing.
Notice in that you're breathing quickly,
Slowly,
Through both nostrils,
Through one nostril.
Maybe one of your nostrils is blocked.
Maybe both nostrils are blocked.
Just notice it.
Keep breathing.
Realizing that there's no mantra,
Except my breath guide.
There's no sound,
Except the focus on your breath,
Which is the true evidence that you are alive in this now moment.
You're required for a few moments.
Stay with your breath.
And if your mind drifts away,
Notice and just come back to your breath.
Even the recognition that your mind has strayed away from noticing your breath is consciousness.
Breathe.
You're going to be quiet for a little while,
A few seconds.
Keep breathing.
Whatever comes,
Let it come.
Whatever goes,
Let it go.
Notice,
Yet stay with your breathing.
Do not identify with any of your thoughts,
No matter how tempting.
At this point,
You may become aware of how your heart's beating,
And how your abdomen is rising and falling with each breath.
Stay with the breath.
Now gently wiggle your toes.
Take a deep breath in.
Breathe out.
Just be aware of the space you've just allowed yourself to inhabit.
This space of emptiness.
Certainly you can continue this practice for as long as you want,
Focusing on the breath as your main anchor.
This practice of emptiness brings you to stillness and the point of creation,
The point of your true and higher self.
Get familiar with it.
Thank you for stopping by.
I wish you peace and light.
