Welcome to this calming and presence guided meditation.

My name is Monica Reith.

I'm the founder of Ingenium Movements.

Please find a comfortable position,

Whether you want to be seated or you want to lie down.

Once you have found that comfortable spot,

Allow the back of your body,

If you are lying down,

To start surrendering and connecting with the floor.

If you are seated through your sitting bones and through the sole of your feet,

Finding that sense of connection and grounding.

Tune towards your breath,

Towards the flow of inhalations and exhalations.

Listening to that oceanic sound coming in and coming out.

Listening to the sounds within your heart beat and the sensations that are rising.

Taking a deep inhale through the nose as you exhale through the mouth.

Beautiful.

We're going to bring the awareness to the heart center.

Breathing through the chest,

Opening and receiving.

And from that heart space,

We're going to connect now with the third eye,

With the space between the eyebrows.

Closing the eyes if they are not already closed and directing the gaze towards the third eye.

We're going to start taking our presence and taking our being through a journey.

If at any point the mind wanders,

Please come back to the breath and return to this starting point of our visualization.

We're going to now imagine that we are on a path.

There's a trail and that trail goes through our beautiful forest.

You can see the colors,

The shapes of the trees,

The plants,

The bushes that surround you.

You can smell the soil.

You can almost sense the sunlight coming through the canopies.

And you can also hear the birds singing happy.

Surrounded by nature and being a part of nature.

As you are on this path,

You start taking steps forwards.

You start walking down this path,

Feeling relaxed and feeling safe.

There's nothing to be afraid of.

As you keep walking down the path,

You realize that there's a clearing opposite you,

In front of you.

And you start walking towards that space.

You see that that clearing becomes bigger and more spacious.

And you realize that there is a lake,

There is water in front of you.

You walk towards the shore to see the vast reach of that lake,

Of the waters,

All the way towards the horizon.

The lake is surrounded by trees,

Creating a beautiful and sacred space.

Looking at the surface of those waters,

They are calm.

They are very still.

Also,

The color of the water,

Transparent,

Inviting.

We're going to now immerse ourselves in the water,

In the inviting waters.

First,

Deep in the tails,

Feeling the change of temperature in the body.

And noticing how,

Deeper in the water,

The colors change.

And besides that initial stillness and almost sense of no activity,

In the shallow waters,

You realize that deep inside,

There's a frantic movement of fishes and plants and seawards.

It is full of life.

And you feel safe.

And you keep walking inside,

You keep walking towards the lake.

Now the water is reaching your ankles.

And as you keep diving in,

The water levels reach your thighs,

Your stomach.

Until you are fully covered.

Allow yourself to immerse into the waters and start diving deeper.

Watching the fishes,

The plants around you.

Feeling how the water color changes,

The temperature changes.

Yet you feel supported,

Safe and contained by these welcoming waters.

You can feel yourself swimming and expressing through the body,

Through your arms,

Through your legs,

Through your torso,

Feeling really free and calm in these waters.

Allow yourself to float,

To be sustained by the water.

I'm going to allow you a few moments here for you to feel the peaceful sense of being immersed in these calming waters.

Allowing the body to express and to bring any insights,

Any of the mind wonders.

Just return towards the sensations of the water,

Of the lake,

Of the path.

I bear the time and I let you know when it's time to come back.

I'm going to let you know when it's time to come back.

I'm going to let you know when it's time to come back.

I'm going to let you know when it's time to come back.

I'm going to let you know when it's time to come back.

I'm going to let you know when it's time to come back.

From the deep waters,

Start coming all the way up to the surface.

Allow the sun to start warming up your body as you swim all the way back to the shore.

Leaving the deep waters of your consciousness behind,

Observing the space and the connection that you have created.

And walking the path back,

Leaving the lake behind.

Walking through the path that will take you through the forest,

Surrounded by trees,

Surrounded by birds.

All the way back to the beginning of the path.

Once you are there,

Deepen your breath and start moving your body in a very gentle way,

Easing your way back to the present.

Once you're ready,

Open your eyes and allow a few moments for your eyes and your brain to return and to normalize the lights around you.

Take a few moments after this meditation if you'd like to write a few ideas or sensations that might have arisen during the meditation.

Hope you enjoyed it and we'll see you very soon.
