So let's connect.
Let's connect first of all to the breath,
To the breathing,
And establish this space of now,
Meaning presence,
And acknowledge that we are here all together sharing this space together,
Meaning that we're allowing our heart to connect with each other,
We're allowing our mind to connect with each other,
We're allowing our energy to connect with each other,
So we feel that we are uniting in this space of now.
And today I would like to focus on this idea of the ego,
And first to say that the ego is something we must have in order to survive,
Of course.
So we know who is hungry and who needs to go to the toilet,
And who needs to do everything that the body is asking us to do.
So that's the ego,
It's normal.
What is not balanced is the identity with the psyche,
That I am the mind,
I am the emotions,
And even that I am this body.
So the ego identifies itself to be the thoughts that it produces.
It produces thoughts and then it believes it to be itself.
So this is a completely dreamlike illusion.
In order to move away from this dreamlike illusion that we're all sharing,
And the whole reality that is around us is living according to that,
We need to develop the muscle of awareness and discrimination.
So we can observe what's happening and have enough space to decide if to embrace that and go with,
Let's say,
A negative thought,
Or even a thought that is not very negative but it's not helpful actually,
Or even a thought that is just a thought.
And to have this space so we can let go of those things.
Some of those things are very obvious,
That there's no need to think negative thoughts about the future,
About the past,
It's quite obvious that it's not helpful.
But I think the most sneaky stuff is relating to the identity,
To this psychological pattern of who we made us to be in our eyes or in our mind.
I am a this and a that.
This is the most sneaky stuff because the mind holds on to it very,
Very,
Very dearly and very strong,
And we invest a lot,
A lot of life force in order to protect those identities.
A lot.
And this requires a lot of awareness and discrimination to say,
Hey,
Actually,
I don't need that.
And when we really separate from that,
There's a big,
Big,
Deep sense of freedom,
Very,
Very deep sense of freedom that I no more need to protect something that many years ago because of those different social and family circumstances,
I develop psychologically to be as that person,
And no need for that.
So when we see our mind trying to protect some kind of psychological build up like I am the good boy and don't tell me I'm not,
Or I'm the smart guy,
Don't tell me I'm not,
Or I'm the victim,
Don't tell me I'm not.
And those things,
So when we can let go,
We don't need it.
So for that,
We need a lot of awareness and training in being aware of what's happening.
And a lot of courage and also a clarity of what are we doing on this planet and being very clear that I'm not here to strengthen something that I'm not.
And if I do it,
I can see it and very humbly say,
No,
I don't want to go there.
It's painful.
The mind doesn't like it because we put a lot of energy for it,
But it's a process.
So let's say I dedicate this meditation first to make sure that we can create that space,
That we see what's happening.
And second,
To be very clear,
What do we have to pay attention to that actually is not helpful for me anymore,
That I would like to be liberated from those things or those mental tendencies.
So let's first focus on space.
Space can be established in an instant because space is between awareness,
Which is space,
And what is in the space.
Okay,
So classically we can be aware of the breath,
Aware of sensation in the body,
Aware of emotions,
Aware of even the mind.
And then we can be aware of external stimulation like sounds or anything that comes through our senses.
But also,
Let's say more advanced is just to be aware of awareness,
Meaning not to direct the awareness to an object,
But allow the awareness to be established within itself.
Let's try to do that.
Now,
This should be done not with a limitation that the awareness is aware of itself inside the brain.
Awareness is not limited to the brain,
It's actually infinite.
So when awareness is aware of awareness,
It is aware of the whole creation,
Or better saying it's the size of the whole creation.
It is infinite space.
Practically speaking,
To reach that state is basically allowing the mind to expand to infinity with no limitation,
And to be in that state of being.
When the mind is not in an ego state,
Not a thinking state,
Really naturally it is infinite.
It is a natural state,
It's infinite.
So it's like a spring or something that wants to always expand.
When you stop contracting it,
It'll just expand naturally.
But it should not expand necessarily to this direction or that direction because you're directing it.
You just drop it altogether,
Then immediately it will assume infinity,
Immediately.
So it's opposite of doing something,
It's actually dropping everything.
Let's try it.
When the mind effortlessly is infinite,
Without any effort,
We are not dying,
Of course we are more alive than any time.
We are more aware than any time.
We are more peaceful.
We are more blissful.
So we allow the mind to assume its natural infinite space without doing anything really,
We just drop it.
And then we transform to space MI,
Or infinity MI,
Or consciousness MI,
It's all the same.
You can say quantum field MI,
It's all the same.
So the feeling is that we're transforming to the consciousness of the whole creation.
And it's natural,
It's effortless.
Good.
So when we are in that space or that state,
Then we are completely,
Completely available to recognize anything,
Can be in the body,
Outside the body,
Anywhere,
Because we are the space where everything now arising.
So let's just spend a minute like this,
As infinite space without any object or anything,
Just enjoying being,
That's all.
That space of pure being,
It doesn't mean that we don't feel emotional,
It doesn't mean that our mind is completely quiet,
It doesn't mean that we don't have physical discomfort,
It doesn't mean all those things,
But it means that we're now the space in which all those things manifest.
And because of that,
It's the ultimate space for healing,
Or positioning for healing.
So let's take time to use this beautiful space of no-thing to harmonize some things that are within us,
The ego person,
That doesn't feel comfortable,
Okay?
So please,
Please don't collapse to the shape or the form of the ego,
Of the person,
There's no need for that.
Stay infinite,
Acknowledging that what you're feeling as emotions or physical sensation or mental discomfort,
They are in the space which you are,
But it's not who you are.
And let's start just to harmonize,
Let's harmonize emotions.
So stay as infinity and pay attention to your heart chakra and just see what's going on there.
And if you feel,
You might feel a bit of comfort or discomfort in the heart chakra.
In any case,
We can invite it to open up and synchronize with infinity MI,
With the infinite space which we are.
I'm inviting my heart chakra to catch up with the infinite,
Infinite consciousness space MI.
So we are not from inside out,
Meaning I'm in the body and uniting with infinity,
I am infinity and I'm inviting,
You know,
Whatever,
Now the heart chakra,
To synchronize with me.
So I'm not there dependent if the heart is happy or not happy,
It's nicer when it's happy but if it's not,
Okay.
Stay infinite.
Always establish yourself as the infinite space and call attention to infinity.
Now this infinite space is not you,
The person you,
It's you,
Me,
You,
Everyone,
You,
Everything.
So you infinite,
Me infinite,
Or Rosana infinite,
Or Guillermo infinite is the same infinite.
It's not personal infinite.
Okay,
Make sure that the heart chakra you're calling to harmonize is slowly,
Slowly dissolving tension and it's transforming from,
If it's sad,
From sadness to comfort or maybe to love or maybe to bliss.
It's starting to feel much better.
So the space between you as the whole creation and you as the ego person should be like blue sky or like pure space,
Yeah?
As much as we have layers of tension,
Emotional tension,
Psychological tension,
That space,
That free flow between nothing and something get more obscure,
Obscured,
Yeah?
So we just invite complete process of impurity,
Of moving into purity between the ego person and the infinite being.
Let's do the same working with the mind,
Okay?
So your mind might be tight,
Might be even anxious,
Or might be comfortable.
So if it's not comfortable,
Invite your mind to synchronize with the infinite space which you are,
Beautiful.
And before we're blissing out completely so we cannot and we don't want to have in a one thought,
Let's just try to clarify for ourselves what is our most powerful egoic story,
You know,
That we know that our mind will really fight really strong to maintain it alive.
And what are the circumstances that we know that when it feels threatened it says start to freak out and it will be hurtful and harmful to ourself and especially to others.
So nobody will mess with our ego identity.
Try to acknowledge for yourself but without collapsing into the person if you can.
Don't stay infinite but identify.
Your mind can still think but you don't need to become that mind.
And as you're clarifying for yourself what is your ego tendency that will pull you really strong and make you painful,
Hurt and hurting others,
Just try maybe to think about one example,
Recent example,
That you unconsciously activated or being activated in that way.
Yeah,
Like for example if your default ego identity is I'm not good enough and somebody challenge you and say come on,
How come you didn't know that,
It's so obvious and then you felt that you,
You know,
You felt so hurt and you want to hurt them.
So look at that or maybe you had another circumstances that happened to you.
So just try to clarify for yourself.
And most important is to remember the pain,
You know,
The pain when somebody told you something or you told yourself it's the same and maybe even worse.
And how you shrunk,
How you felt pain,
How you wanted to get back at them.
See if you can look at that from that infinite space which you are and say well actually I don't need that really.
I like the freedom and I'm choosing freedom.
So next time we are encountering this and for sure it will come again,
We try to absorb it or to deal with it from this direction.
Obviously on daily life we are not keeping the mind so infinite normally.
But it's very important to practice that.
So always we're living with space,
Always,
As space in space.
So not everything that our mind bring up we immediately collapsing into it and suffering from it.
Okay,
You just take another minute just to enjoy the freedom of being,
The spacious of being,
That our true self is infinite,
Infinite,
Beautiful.
So let's just conclude by giving gratitude for life that brought us together this evening.
And then visualize this beautiful energy that we are sharing is spread among all being on planet earth and actually in the whole creation.
So each one of us is actually like a lighthouse of love and well-being to support others to reach the same vibration.
