Welcome to this guided meditation.
Today we will focus on slowing down and using ASMR to get deeper into our meditative state.
Start by finding a comfortable seated position.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Hold it for a few seconds and then slowly exhale through your mouth.
Take another deep breath,
Hold it for a moment,
Then exhale.
Feel how you sink into a deeper state of relaxation every time you exhale.
Continue exhaling until all the air is gone from your lungs.
Wait a moment,
Then repeat with a new deep breath.
Repeat this for a few moments,
Focusing on the sound and sensation of your breath.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Imagine that each inhale is bringing in a sense of calm and relaxation,
While each exhale is releasing any tension or negativity within you.
Now visualize yourself sitting in the middle of a gentle rain shower.
The raindrops are cool and refreshing as they fall onto your skin,
Washing away any worries or stress.
Listen to the sound of the raindrops as they hit the ground around you,
Creating a peaceful and soothing ambience.
Maybe the sound of rain is creating a tingling feeling on your skin,
Or maybe not.
Either way is okay.
Focus on the sound that the rain is making and how these sounds are calming your mind and helping you focus.
With each inhale,
Imagine that you're breathing in the fresh,
Clean air that accompanies the rain,
And with each exhale,
Visualize the rain washing away any negative energy or tension within you.
Allow yourself to fully immerse in the moment,
Focusing solely on your breath and the gentle rain.
Take as much time as you need to feel completely relaxed and at ease.
Now take a long,
Slow breath and hold it.
This little break was a gift you gave yourself.
Exhale.
Hopefully you're feeling more calm and grounded and ready to get back to your day.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Feeling refreshed,
Calm and ready to tackle whatever comes your way.
Remember,
Taking a few moments to focus on your breath and relax can make all the difference in your day.
Thank you for sharing this meditation with me.
