Often,
When we're falling asleep,
It is our thoughts that keep us awake,
Our ruminating thoughts,
With eighty percent of them being the same thoughts you were thinking of the night before and the night before that.
Listening to this guided meditation will help you think of other things that are separate from your normal daily routine and rumination of thoughts.
So let's begin with a guided sleep meditation and affirmations that will help you fall asleep.
I highly recommend that you put this on a loop so that it just keeps on playing as you fall asleep.
Let's begin.
I am prepared for a deep and peaceful sleep.
Close your eyes.
There is no more stress.
The day is done.
In the morning I will feel refreshed in body,
Mind,
And soul.
Tomorrow is a new day.
Sleep is my best meditation.
I release today.
I let go of fear,
Worry,
Anger,
Or blame.
I release anxiety and stress.
I release the heaviness of today.
I am feeling lighter and lighter as I let go of negative thoughts and only keep the happy ones.
As I am preparing my body and my mind and my soul for a restful,
Peaceful sleep where I will find freedom in the solace of my dreams and I will know joy and peace whether I remember my dreams or not.
I give myself permission to fall asleep.
As I close my eyes I am allowed to drift into a good night's sleep.
My body,
Mind,
And soul is worthy of rest.
I've had a good day and even if I have not,
My day is done and I now enter a place of deep and restful sleep.
I am in a place of peace and relaxation when I lie down and I crawl under the sheets and my thoughts of today are naturally beginning to soften,
Lighten as I know sleep is on its way.
I am grateful for the life that I have.
I am gratitude for the good and the bad,
For the people who have been my teachers,
For the lessons life has brought me.
I am grateful and I love myself.
I forgive myself.
I have patience with myself.
I am grateful for the light of day.
I am grateful for the darkness of night and I will sleep peacefully tonight.
I welcome my dreams,
Remembered or forgotten.
I embrace my dreams.
My worries fade,
I sleep peacefully knowing I have done all that I could today.
I fall asleep with my dreams close to my heart.
May my sleep be peaceful.
May my dreams be filled with love.
May my soul awaken to the infinite possibilities for happiness in my life.
I welcome a peaceful deep sleep as my heart and my mind rest and feel only authentic,
Calm happiness and love.
I am comforted as I slowly fall asleep.
My spirit is content.
My mind is still.
I am becoming tranquil.
I am becoming relaxed.
I welcome a good night sleep.
I choose peace.
Instead I close my eyes and choose to see again with new eyes beyond what my physical eyes can see.
Peace begins now.
There is peace in my soul.
I am in harmony with the universe.
I match my heartbeat with the beat of the universe.
I am in harmony with my nights or days sleep.
There is no separation now.
I am slowly,
Peacefully surrendering to a good night sleep.
I release today.
I choose peace.
I am everything.
I am vulnerable and I am strong.
I am fearless because of all my fears reroute to love.
I accept the dark skies.
I accept the sunny days.
The stars will shine.
The sun will come up.
I am many things.
I am light enough to fall asleep.
I am slowly taking deeper and deeper breaths.
In which each breath I become more and more relaxed.
I become more and more tired as I slip into a lucid state.
I am somber and ready for tiredness to take over and allow my body to heal as it sleeps.
Tonight I will get a beautiful,
Wonderful,
Restful sleep.
I am calm.
I am love.
May I be blessed.
I look forward to tomorrow.
I am grateful for what tomorrow may bring.
I am thankful for my days.
Now it's time to rest.
Now it's time to sleep.
Now it's time to relax.
I am in harmony with the universe.
I am grateful for this life.
I have gratitude.
I am peaceful.
I am calm.
My body sinks into a cloud of relaxation.
It sinks into the softness of calm and peace.
I welcome a good night's sleep.
I welcome a good night's sleep.
I am more and more relaxed.
I am more and more restful.
I am relaxed.
I choose calm.
I choose peace.
I feel calm and at peace.
I let go of my day.
I trust that I will know how to manage my tomorrow.
Therefore I do not have to make plans for tomorrow.
It is now time to rest.
Nothing will disturb that.
I am still and I am calm.
I breathe deeply and slowly.
I breathe deeply and slowly.
I am enough.
I did enough.
And I am allowed to feel good.
I release.
I let go.
I release and I let go as my eyes and head feel heavy and soft at the same time.
Heavy and light as I rest.
In my imaginary cloud of sleepiness I embrace rest.
I welcome sleep.
I am safe.
I can relax now because I am safe.
My sleep will be calm and peaceful and undisturbed.
My mind and spirit is still and tranquil.
I am now falling asleep.
As I relax deeper and deeper into my sleep,
Into my slumber,
I move closer and closer to a lucid state of rest,
Of rest,
Of rest and relaxation.
It is time.
It is now time to fall asleep.
I am safe.
I am safe.
I welcome deep rest.
I welcome deep rest.
