Find a comfortable seated or standing position.
Let your spine rise tall,
Shoulders soft,
And jaw relaxed.
Gently close the eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a slow inhale through the nose and a smooth exhale through the nose.
Again,
Inhale inviting in clarity and exhale letting go of yesterday.
Begin to lengthen the breath.
Inhale for a count of one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And exhale for a count of six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
As you breathe,
Imagine your body gently stacking back into alignment.
Head over your heart,
Heart over hips,
Breath moving freely.
With each inhale,
Draw energy upward through the body,
And with each exhale,
Ground that energy down through the feet.
Continue with this breath.
Drawing energy up through the body,
And exhaling grounding that energy down through the feet.
Inviting in alignment through the entire body,
Head over heart,
Heart over hips.
Now silently repeat,
I begin this new day again.
As you inhale,
Affirm mentally,
I choose alignment.
As you exhale,
Affirm,
I release pressure.
Inhale,
I choose alignment.
Exhale,
I release pressure.
Inhale,
I choose alignment.
Exhale,
I release pressure.
Let this breath set the tone for your day.
Not force,
Not urgency,
But intention.
Continue with this breath for as long as you feel is needed.
And then when you're ready,
Take one final deep inhale,
And gently open your eyes and step forward into your day realigned.
