Hello and welcome to your Inner Winter Womb Meditation.
Prepare a little cocoon for yourself by grabbing some blankets and some pillows.
And if it feels right for you,
Begin this meditation by laying down in a comfortable position,
Perhaps with a bolster or a pillow for underneath the knees.
Keeping the knees on the bolster or your knees bent can help provide some relief with menstrual cramps.
And we'll begin by placing both of our hands on our womb space.
And we're going to be inhaling for a count of four and exhaling for a count of four.
Inhaling in through the nose for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And exhale for three,
Two,
One.
Again,
Inhaling in for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And exhaling for three,
Two,
One.
Inhaling in,
And exhaling.
Staying connected to this breathing pace,
Feeling the ground beneath you,
Supporting you,
Holding you,
And grounding your body.
As women,
We are constantly going through cycles of death and rebirth.
Throughout the month,
Our emotions get processed through the womb,
And our bleed is an opportunity to release and let go of all that we have been holding onto energetically.
It is a beautiful and sacred time to be honored and acknowledged.
Over time,
We have lost touch with this innate wisdom that our body holds.
It's time to reconnect with our inner power.
Each month,
We get this chance to be born again.
Right now is a time to honor the body by allowing it to deeply rest and restore.
Your body is currently going through an inner winter.
This is a time to give yourself warmth,
Comfort,
And deep rest.
Thank yourself for showing up to this meditation and giving your body exactly what it needs.
This is also a time of heightened intuition and inner connection.
It is a great opportunity to go inward and reflect on the learnings from this last month.
So returning back to your breath,
Inhaling for 4 and exhaling for 4,
Feeling the warmth of your hands on your womb.
With each inhale,
Sending your body and your womb fresh new oxygen.
And with each exhale,
Letting go and softening a little bit more.
Begin to picture a deep red color surrounding your womb.
This deep red is a healing color that encompasses the frequency of grounding and restoration.
Breathing deeply into this color,
Allowing it to encompass your womb.
And with each exhale,
Letting go and finding relief.
From this space,
Ask yourself,
What are you releasing from this past month?
What would you like to let go of with this bleed?
What would you like to let go of with this bleed?
Taking a moment to deeply honor your body for going through these cycles,
For giving you the chance to release,
And a chance to be born again.
Thanking your body,
Thanking your womb for all that it does for you.
And giving it permission here in this moment of stillness to fully surrender and let go.
Stay connected to your breath and know that all that you need to do here is simply lay,
Rest,
And restore.
And this is the best possible thing that you can do for your body at this moment.
