Begin by sitting in a comfortable position,
Seat grounded,
Spine stretched tall,
Shoulders dropped,
And let's take three deep breaths.
Deep breath in all the way down to the pit of your belly,
And exhale,
Let that all go.
Again,
Deep breath,
Pushing the belly outwards,
Opening up,
And exhale.
Last one,
Deep breath,
And let that go.
Now,
I invite you to call upon the energy of your higher self,
The best version of you that you aspire to be.
What is the first thing that comes to mind?
How do they present themselves?
How is their energy?
What do they look like?
How do they act?
Most importantly,
How do they feel?
Your higher self is always with you.
You can look at it as the one always guiding you behind the scenes to become the person you are meant to be.
It is the core essence of who you are,
Beyond the ways you may change as a human throughout your lifetime.
We can practice calling upon our higher self when we feel lost,
Or to embody them in certain situations or to make decisions.
Let's consciously do that now.
Begin to focus on the space a few inches above your head,
Just above your crown.
This is where the energy of your higher self sits.
Let's take a deep breath into this space.
Notice any colors or symbols that may come to mind.
Feel into the essence of what comes up for you.
Feel again.
Envision this color and essence of your crown getting brighter and bigger.
And as you exhale,
Send this essence down your body,
Casting a light all around your body.
Again,
Deep breath into that area above the head.
And on your exhale,
Envision it dripping down like honey down your body.
Last time,
Inhale into the space a few inches above your head,
Bringing to mind the color that comes up for you,
Shining bigger and brighter.
And long exhale,
Allowing that to pour down.
Take a moment here to notice how you feel.
Sometimes,
At first,
It may or may not feel difficult to feel this energy.
However,
With time and practice,
You will strengthen this connection.
The first step to truly becoming who you want to be is embodying that energy and essence.
Sitting and meditating on the feeling of what it feels like.
Allow yourself to sit with this.
And in your meditation,
Feel free to ask your higher self any questions that you may have for them.
Trust your intuition,
Remembering that you are this essence.
And no one knows the answers better than you.
