This is a guided meditation practice around the topic of surrender and trust.
Oftentimes we get so caught up in our lives,
We create our own suffering through our own anxious thoughts,
Critical mind and self-doubt that we often never give ourselves the credit to just accept,
To be,
To look at all the things that have worked out and remind ourselves that everything is happening in perfect timing.
And so in today's practice I want to guide you to live your life with more freedom,
Ease and peace,
Letting go of all that no longer serves.
So when you're ready I want you to get into a comfortable position,
Sitting,
Laying down wherever you feel comfortable.
When you're ready I want you now just to start to bring your gaze inward,
Closing your eyes gently and taking a deep inhale in through your nose.
Release out through your mouth and now the deep inhale into your nose.
Release out through your mouth and I want you now just to place your attention on your feet,
Whether they're placed firmly on the ground,
Wherever they may be.
Feel the support beneath you,
Maybe the seat you're sitting on,
Wherever you're laying down,
Feel so connected and grounded in this moment,
Knowing that you are exactly where you need to be.
And I want you now just to feel into your body.
What do you feel?
What is alive?
What's activated for you?
Do you feel any tension,
Any stiffness?
Do you feel ease,
Peace and relaxation?
All is welcome.
We meet every sensation,
Every thought with loving awareness as we surrender to this very moment.
Breathing in gently in through your nose and out through your mouth and with each inhale into your nose and exhale you're just dropping into a deeper state of relaxation and releasing all that no longer serves.
Oftentimes we create our own suffering when we allow our fear-based minds,
Our negative thoughts,
Our critical minds,
Our self-doubts to take over.
We get consumed by all that we need to do and all the expectations and pressure we put on ourselves to be perfect.
This creates more anxiety,
More stress,
More pressure.
And as we enter into this new month,
I want you to set any intention to just be,
To just show up and try your best every day,
To meet every experience,
Every challenge with curiosity,
With an expectation to see where you can learn,
Where you can grow,
Where you can expand yourself more,
Letting go of all the fear,
Letting go of all the noise around you,
Telling you you need to be in order to be valuable.
You just get to show up and be yourself.
Knowing that you have everything that you need within you and knowing that everything is working out in perfect timing.
Every challenge that may seem like a mountain standing before you,
Just show up daily doing your best,
Letting go of the fear,
Letting go of the self-doubt,
The critical thoughts,
Meeting them all with loving kindness and non-judgment.
Loving yourself through every experience will help you set yourself up for freedom,
Free from anxiousness and suffering,
Surrendering more and trusting that it will all work out.
We look back at other experiences in your life where you thought things were impossible and now you look back and you laugh knowing that it was possible,
Seeing how things just worked out the way it should.
And even when doors closed,
New opportunities,
New doors open,
Just allowing yourself to really surrender to the flow of life.
Bringing in love and joy and excitement to every new experience,
Every new opportunity is a gift.
And as you breathe in through your nose,
You release more of what no longer serves in your exhale,
Trusting that this month will bring you new opportunities,
New areas for you to explore yourself,
To grow,
To learn,
To love yourself more.
And we meet this with so much loving kindness and compassion.
Letting go of all the stories that are just keeping us stuck and just trying to keep us safe.
And I want you now just to sit this beautiful intention,
Letting go of the expectation,
The outcome,
Just allowing yourself to be setting the intention for this month.
How do you want to show up?
How can you show up a little bit more for yourself?
How can you love yourself a little bit more?
How can you be kinder,
More compassionate to yourself?
Because the way you show up for you allows you to show up more for everyone else around you,
In your workplace,
In your home life,
In your personal life,
And with yourself.
And as you surrender to this experience,
May you always come back to this moment whenever you're feeling overwhelmed,
Frustrated,
Anxious,
Just giving yourself this gift of peace,
Of ease,
Of surrender and trust.
Breathing deeply into your nose,
Releasing out through your mouth.
I want you now to bring your awareness back into this space,
Wiggling your feet,
Your fingers around,
Adding some movement to your body,
Whatever feels good to you.
And when you open your eyes,
I want you to look at life through this new lens,
This lens of trust,
Love,
Surrender and curiosity,
Trusting yourself that everything always works out.
