The bottom of your seat,
Your back against the chair.
As you bring your awareness in your own time,
In your own way to the ground underneath you,
Experience what that's like.
Support.
The support of solid ground that allows you to be in state where you are.
To be planted,
Rooted.
As you drop your awareness down into the ground,
You may become aware that the ground rises into you as well.
Your earth body,
The body of the earth.
As you take your seat here,
Feel your place here.
The next in breath,
Bring your awareness to it.
As breath enters you.
So simple,
And if you will ever so gently and attentively join with the next inhalation as it comes in,
Meet it and take it with you.
Take it in.
Feel what moves in your torso as breath deepens into your core.
Bring your awareness to your bodily sensations,
Feeling of your body and your chair,
The feeling of your seat,
Feeling of your tongue,
Your face,
The back,
Once again,
The awareness to your breathing.
Can you allow your inhalations to go down,
To take you in,
All the way down into your seat,
Perhaps follow your next out breath all the way out till the still point comes,
Can you let your next inhalation arise on its own without making it happen and just follow your breath.
Feel what that's like.
See rooted in the earth,
Breath flowing through your core like a river,
Like a flow,
Mind clearing.
Now to the awareness of space inside your body,
Space inside your breath,
Inside your skin,
Inside your bones,
Space.
Are you here?
Right here.
Again,
Seat rooted,
Breath moving through you,
Space in between breath.
Mind open,
Then the experience of your body as an instrument,
As a resonator,
Something that hums,
That vibrates,
That lives and your presence inside of that.
Stay here.
Breath,
Vibration,
Resonance.
Feeling the ground as a resource,
Breath,
Bodily sensations,
And your presence here embodied.
