Welcome to this shadow work meditation.
My name is Kyra and today I will be guiding you to finding your shadows and loving them.
So begin by finding yourself in a comfortable position,
Either sitting down or perhaps lying down,
Whatever feels best for you today.
And whenever you're ready close down the eyes.
Take a deep breath in through the nose.
And out through the nose.
In through the nose.
And out through the nose.
One more deep breath in.
And as you let it out,
Relax your body.
Drop your shoulders.
Relax your hands.
Relax your legs,
Your feet.
Let your face soften and smooth as you release the facial muscles.
Completely relax your entire body.
You are completely safe here and there is nowhere else you need to be except right here in this present moment.
Listening to my voice as you relax your body.
Allow yourself to visualize something that you dislike about yourself.
That is something that you truly don't like about who you are.
It might be something that you do.
A behaviour.
Something that you frequently say.
Perhaps an emotion that keeps coming up.
That is something that you truly don't like about yourself.
Now visualize yourself.
Complete with this part of you that you dislike.
Can you see how it makes you whole?
Perhaps it's something that's unique about you.
Perhaps it's something that helps you be a better person.
Send love to yourself.
Complete with this part that you don't even like but know that it is an essential part of your being.
It is an essential part of your journey.
So in your mind send love and compassion to yourself including this shadow part of yourself.
Give yourself a hug in this visualization.
Embracing yourself and embracing your shadow.
This shadow part of yourself simply needs some love and nurturing.
It's not something that needs to be hidden or repressed.
Your shadow side just needs love and compassion.
Visualize your entire being.
Being filled with golden light.
Embracing yourself with healing energy,
With love and compassion.
Visualize this golden light glows from your entire being all the way from your toes up to your head all glowing with golden light.
And now repeat after me.
In your mind I completely love all parts of myself.
I completely accept all parts of myself.
I deeply love myself.
When you're ready it's time to bring some movement back into the physical body as you come back into the present moment.
Getting back into the room that you're in give the toes and fingers a little stretch and when you're ready open up the eyes.
