In this meditation we will do a body scan and bring our awareness to soften the space between the eyebrows,
An area we often hold a lot of tension from thinking and ruminating.
By becoming aware and letting go of any tightness here we create space for clarity and intuition,
A simple meditation practice to hold our awareness in the present moment.
Once you've found a comfortable position either sitting up or lying down,
Letting your mind and body settle.
With your eyes gently closed,
Soften around and behind the eyes,
Notice your brow and let your brow be smooth.
Become aware of your natural breath with your chest softly rising and falling.
In a body scan become aware of sensations,
Areas of tightness and pay attention to what wants to let go.
Feel your jaw,
Open it with space between the back teeth,
Move it from left to right and back to the centre.
Feel your tongue sitting in the back of your mouth resting.
Feel your cheekbones,
Your nose and nostrils with air streaming in and out.
Feel your forehead,
Your temples.
Become aware of the top of your head and feel your head sitting on your neck and shoulders.
Feel your shoulders,
Gently lift them up and drop them again.
Feel your arms,
Elbows,
Hands and fingers resting.
Feel your spine and sitting bones.
Feel how you sit in comfort.
Become aware of your legs,
Knees and feet resting.
Become aware of your whole body.
Let everything just as it is,
With a deep allowing because everything belongs.
Now I would like you to bring your awareness to your forehead,
Slightly lower to the space between your eyebrows,
Just above the bridge of your nose.
An area we often all a lot of tension from thinking and ruminating.
And I invite you to consciously soften this area,
Letting go of any tightness and gently resting your awareness here.
When you soften the space between your eyebrows you may feel how your closed eyelids soften too,
Like the parts around and behind your eyes.
Your inner gaze feels as if it was resting on an imaginary horizon just before you,
Very gently and softly,
Without any effort.
Feel the upper part of your cheekbones and your temples.
Slowly let go of any tension and melt into a softened face.
If you do not feel this,
That is ok.
Slowly become aware of what you feel in this area.
By becoming aware and letting go you create space for clarity and intuition.
And every time thoughts or tensions are coming,
Simply bring your awareness back to the space between your eyebrows and gently soften it.
We're going to do this for the next 5 minutes and I will let you know when it's time to come out.

You can gently let go of everything and become aware of the space you have created.
Become aware of how your whole body feels.
And in your own time,
You can open your eyes.
