Welcome to this guided meditation to assist you in feeling grounded.

Begin by getting yourself into a relaxing position,
Slowing down your breath.
And just noticing how you feel in your body right now.
Now close your eyes and begin to visualize yourself walking along a path through a tranquil forest full of tall majestic trees.
And with each step,
You feel the soft moss below your feet.
You can smell the leaves with each breath of fresh air.
As you look around you,
You see a vast array of plants and ferns amidst the stillness in this forest.
When you look up,
You see the sun glistening through the leaves at the tops of the trees.
You feel tranquility all around you in this lush green forest.
You stop walking for a moment to take it all in.
You hear birds singing up above you,
And they sound so joyful.
As you begin to walk along the path through the dense healing forest,
You hear the sound of water flowing nearby.
You notice up ahead that the stream is flowing alongside the path that you're walking on.
When you reach the stream,
You notice how crystal clear the water is.
As you gaze into the stream and see a reflection,
You feel compelled to dip your feet into the stream.
You take off your shoes and socks and place your feet on the damp,
Cool ground.
The earth feels really nice on the soles of your feet.
You slowly dip one foot into the stream,
And now the other.
The water is crisp and cold,
But you adapt to the temperature quickly.
The water is extremely invigorating.
You begin to feel a wave of peaceful energy travel up through your feet and into your legs.
This energy continues to move up your body into your abdomen.
And now throughout your back and your chest.
It moves into your shoulders and down your arms.
You can feel this energy,
Even in your fingertips.
This amazing sensation moves up your neck and into your head.
Your whole body is supercharged with this peaceful healing energy.
It feels blissful.
You notice your muscles are completely calm and relaxed.
You remain here for a few moments.
Take in a few slow,
Deep breaths.
As you enjoy the benefits of this experience.
You notice this peaceful energy in your body right here,
Right now,
Even as the visualization of the forest and stream begin to fade away.
As you look back into the room,
The peace,
Calm and relaxation that you discovered in the stream of peace is available to you anytime.
Whenever you feel your inner peace begin to dissipate visualize this peaceful stream and the grounding still forest.
Feel the cool breeze on your skin.
Breathe in the grounding scent of the forest.
Feel the warm sensation of the rays of sunshine beaming through the branches.
Hear the sounds of the streaming water and the birds singing above.
Remember that you have access to this peaceful place at all times.
