Begin by finding a comfortable position.

Sit or lie down and close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.

With each breath,

Allow yourself to relax more deeply.

Inhale deeply and exhale fully,

Letting go of any tension.

Now imagine a warm,

Soothing light above your head.

This light is filled with calming,

Positive energy.

As it moves down your body,

It brings relaxation and peace.

Feel this light as it touches the top of your head,

Relaxing your scalp and forehead.

Feel the muscles around your eyes soften.

This warm light continues to flow down,

Relaxing your cheeks,

Your jaw,

And your neck.

Feel it move into your shoulders,

Releasing any tightness.

The warm light travels down your arms,

Relaxing your biceps,

Your elbows,

Your forearms,

Your wrists,

And your hands.

Each finger relaxes as the light moves through them.

Now this soothing light moves into your chest,

Filling your lungs with relaxation as you breathe in,

It spreads to your abdomen,

Your back,

And continues down to your hips.

Feel the light move down to your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves,

Your ankles,

And finally into your feet and your toes.

Your entire body is now enveloped in this warm,

Calming light,

And you feel deeply relaxed.

Imagine yourself standing at the top of a beautiful staircase.

This staircase has 10 steps leading down to a peaceful,

Safe place.

With each step that you take,

You will go deeper into relaxation.

Take the first step down,

Feeling more relaxed.

Take the second step,

Going deeper.

Take the third step,

Going even deeper.

The fourth step,

Feeling more at peace.

The fifth step,

Halfway down,

Feeling safe and calm.

The sixth step,

Deeper still.

Taking the seventh step,

More and more relaxed.

The eighth step,

Deeply relaxed.

The ninth step,

Almost there.

And the tenth step,

Fully relaxed.

You have now reached a peaceful,

Safe place.

This is your sanctuary,

A place where you feel completely confident and secure.

In this safe place,

Imagine a mirror in front of you.

As you look into this mirror,

You see a version of yourself that is confident,

Capable,

And full of self-belief.

This version of you stands tall,

Shoulders back,

And exudes confidence.

As you continue to look at this confident version of yourself,

Repeat these affirmations in your mind.

I am confident and capable.

I believe in myself and my abilities.

I trust myself to handle any situation.

I am worthy of success and happiness.

I am strong,

Resilient,

And resourceful.

Feel the truth of these statements resonate within you.

See the confident version of yourself in the mirror affirming these truths.

As you do,

Feel this confidence growing within you,

Becoming a part of you.

Now imagine stepping into the mirror and merging with this confident version of yourself.

Feel this confidence infusing every part of your being.

Know that this confidence is now a permanent part of who you are.

Visualize yourself in a situation where you want to feel more confident.

See yourself handling this situation with ease and with grace.

Notice how others respond positively to your confidence.

Feel the pride and satisfaction of knowing you can handle any situation.

It's now time to return to your present environment,

Bringing this new confidence within you.

Start by becoming aware of your surroundings.

Feel the surface you are resting on.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Feeling refreshed,

Confident,

And ready to embrace your day with a new sense of inner strength and self-assurance.

Know that you can return to this place of confidence and relaxation whenever you need to.

You are confident,

Capable,

And full of self-belief.
