Welcome.

Thank you for taking this time for yourself to join us here in this guided meditation.

In this session,

We will be bringing forth tools that can benefit us in our everyday lives,

To release our fears,

To release our stress,

Our worries,

And our anxieties.

In this session,

We will be able to bring forth these tools to help us in everyday life.

And before we start,

I would like us to find a comfortable position,

Whether that's sitting down,

Cross-legged,

Sitting down on a chair,

Lying down,

Any position that brings you the most comfort.

You can cross your legs.

You can sit in the chair.

Anything you need to feel comfortable.

We will begin with grounding,

Feeling safe and secure in the position and the place we are.

And to do that,

We will take a few deep breaths in through our mouth.

We will feel the air expand our body.

And as we exhale,

We will bring our stomach in,

Our chest in,

And we will release everything that we are carrying with us before this session.

We will do that now.

And breathing in through our mouth is what brings the energy up from the ground.

When we breathe in through our nose,

It brings the energy in from the top.

And since we want to be grounded,

Because being grounded is what keeps us present,

We will be breathing in through the mouth.

Now deep breath in together.

As we breathe out,

We will feel our body becoming more situated in the position that we are resting.

Another breath in through the mouth.

Give the breath a soft hold and release through the mouth.

With each breath,

Our body slows down.

Our mind slows down.

We are able to find peace.

And we will take one more deep breath in through the mouth.

Feel the base of your spine.

Feel it connected to the earth.

Feel your presence in this very moment.

This moment is all there is.

Now I would like us to create a safe space.

This is a tool for you to feel secure and safe wherever you may be.

Envision in your mind with your eyes closed or open,

Visualize a white field of light surrounding your body.

A bubble of light.

And we are sitting in our own bubble of light.

And nothing that can harm us can come through this bubble that we've created.

Because we've created this bubble with intention.

Knowing that we can create this bubble at any moment of any day,

We can feel secure and safe anywhere that we are.

And we'll take another deep breath in through our mouth.

Hold and release.

As we rest our mind and our body,

Our mind can begin to race.

We can start thinking about our life,

About our experiences,

Our traumas,

Our fears,

Our worries.

But what is happening in that moment is that these thoughts are coming from nowhere.

In this very moment,

These thoughts do nothing for us.

And recognizing this is where we can find our power.

Because we can just as easily think of positive things.

Think of the things that we look forward to.

The things that we are grateful for or excited for.

And it's not so much the thought that we have.

It is the action that we take with this thought that surfaces.

We can either continue the thought and spiral into a mind of worry,

Anguish,

And stress over something that does not belong in this moment.

Or we can let it go.

So a wonderful tool that we can use for these moments is by recognizing and ask ourselves,

What does this thought do for me right now?

How does this thought benefit me in my present moment?

And when we recognize the thought does nothing for us,

But bring our fear or resurface our anxiety,

We can catch it.

And in that moment,

We speak in our mind,

How do you help me right now?

This fear has surfaced.

How does it benefit me in this moment?

And if the conclusion is that it serves no purpose,

Then to consciously release the thought.

We can do this by speaking in our mind.

I recognize this thought of fear.

I recognize the substance behind the fear and that it is rational in other moments and sometimes necessary.

But right now,

You do not serve my highest potential.

So I release you.

And with that release,

We will take a breath.

This time,

We can take it in through our nose,

In through our mouth,

Releasing the thought of negativity,

Fear,

Or worry.

And we find ourselves back in the present.

We can use these tools in every moment of our lives.

Every time we are at home doing our own thing and a thought surfaces.

And this thought doesn't serve us in this present moment.

Instead of running with that thought and reliving these emotions that serve no purpose for the present moment,

We can remember that we have a ball of protection around us at all times.

We can recognize these thoughts and let them go with breath.

At times,

We can't control our thoughts.

The thoughts just come based on our previous experience in life and what we've gone through,

Which can be entirely real.

But we don't need to bring those experiences into our present moments and allow these heavy emotions to strip us from our presence.

A form of meditation that I would call this is letting go meditation.

As the thoughts come,

We recognize them,

We acknowledge them,

We accept them,

And then we let them go.

We will deal with them when the time comes to do so.

So we'll take another deep breath in through our nose and hold this place of security and presence.

The power that we have in every moment lies in our hands.

To feel emotions and feelings of stress and fear is completely natural to our lives.

Acting on these fears is what makes them valid.

So the key is to not let these thoughts control our lives.

This is why being grounded is so vitally important because it takes us from being so deeply in our head and in our mind and brings us back into our body,

Into reality and the present where you are truly safe.

Your past does not belong here in the present.

There is a time for the future,

But it does not belong here in the present.

So as these thoughts come to our mind,

We can breathe through them and release them.

When we feel afraid in our mind,

We can create a safe bubble that holds us securely in the present.

We can acknowledge these thoughts.

We can accept these thoughts,

Recognize the truth to these thoughts and consciously let them go by communicating with them.

We'll take another deep breath in together to hold the space of peace and security.

With these tools,

We can bring back our peace of mind.

We can feel the fear in the moment we experience it,

But we do not have to carry them with us.

We recognize the emotions.

We accept the feelings and we consciously let them go.

You are always safe.

You are protected.

We are here as a community to hold space for those that struggle.

We are here to help guide each other and to help each other cope with our traumas by providing these tools for releasing these traumas.

Recognize,

Accept and release.

We can do this as many times as we feel necessary until these thoughts subside.

And reinforcing these thoughts with positivity can also have a huge impact on changing how our mind thinks.

To change a fear-based thought with the positive version of it.

In our mind,

We can project positive outcomes just as easy as we can project negative outcomes.

And with practice,

Positive projections become second nature just as easily as our negative ones.

So thank you for taking this time today to find your center,

To become grounded and to recognize that the power of thought resides within you.

Thank you for joining us.

Not really a "guided meditation" but excellent, excellent wisdom and tools to use while working through triggers and spiraling thoughts. And the bowls droning in the background are so calming and centering. Overall a very excellent meditation. Thank you. 🙏 💜
