Welcome to this guided breathwork practice to release and reset.
The breath is a powerful tool that utilised correctly can regenerate the body,
Boost the immune system,
Clear out any energetic or emotional blockages and aid in full mind,
Body,
Spirit healing.
This practice is best done lying down,
However it can be done sitting up.
Make sure that your spine is straight and that you are as comfortable as possible.
We will be using an activating breath that involves breathing in fully through the nose,
Powerfully and intentionally.
The exhale is passive,
Simply a letting go.
It should sound like this.
We will do around 30 to 40 breaths,
Followed by a breath hold.
And we will complete this for three rounds.
When you are ready,
Closing down the eyes and take a moment to arrive here.
What is present for you right now?
Observing any physical and emotional sensations that are present and dropping any labels of good or bad.
Simply witness and allow.
Let's start by taking a few deep cleansing breaths together.
Connecting to the breath.
Connecting to the expansion of the inhale.
Pulling in power.
Connecting to the releasing of the exhale.
Letting go.
And let's begin the active breath together.
Keep that breath going on your own now.
This is your practice.
So if you need to breathe a little bit slower,
That is okay.
Just make sure that you are keeping that breath moving in and out.
If you feel a little bit dizzy or lightheaded,
That is perfectly normal and you are perfectly safe.
Deeply in and releasing,
Letting go.
Taking in one last deep full breath and release,
Let go,
Exhale the air out.
And hold the breath at the bottom.
Observing what is present for you right now.
And trusting the body,
Trusting that you can hold the breath a lot longer than the mind thinks it can.
And if you need to breathe,
That is okay.
Try taking a small sip of air in and release.
And hold again.
Relaxing into this pause.
And taking a full deep breath in,
Hold at the top.
And release,
Let go.
Great job on your first round.
Let's move into the second round of that active breathing.
Keep that breath moving in and out.
Letting the breath move the energy in and around the body.
And releasing whatever you need to on that exhale.
The frustration,
The fear,
The guilt,
The anger,
The anxiety.
Really channeling into letting go with each out-breath.
Trust the body,
Trust the breath.
And taking in one last deep breath,
Fully in.
And exhale,
Let go.
Holding once more at the bottom of the breath.
Feeling into what is present right now as you pause.
Feeling into any tingles,
Any buzzing.
Feeling that oxygen move throughout the body.
Begin to reset the system.
Dropping the shoulders,
Unclenching.
Taking a breath if you need.
See if you can hold on a little bit longer.
You've got this.
And taking a deep breath in,
Hold at the top.
Gathering all that energy up into the top of the head.
Powering up the brain.
And release,
Let go.
Before we move into our third and final round,
I want to invite you to see if you can give it even just 5% more.
Putting a little bit more power behind that breath.
Remember that you are your own greatest healer.
And everything that you need to heal is already within you.
And it starts with the breath.
So let's really make it count on this last and final round.
Let's begin.
And if there's a particular emotion that is present for you right now.
Maybe even using that exhale to let out a bit of a sigh or any sound that feels good.
Breath and sound are a powerful way to release emotion.
And breath work doesn't have to be a still practice honouring your body if you need to move or shake.
The body knows what to do.
What do you need to let go of and let it go with that out breath.
And taking in one last final deep breath in.
And simply let go,
Release,
Exhale.
And holding for one last time at the bottom.
Checking in with the body.
Sometimes when we are actively breathing we can find ourselves clenching so just relax.
The shoulders,
The hands,
The stomach muscles.
Really allow yourself to immerse into this moment of stillness.
Feeling all that energy rush around the body as the nervous system begins to recalibrate.
Feeling yourself begin to come back to centre.
And when you're ready take a deep breath in,
Fully in and hold at the top.
And release,
Let go,
Exhale.
Great job.
And check in with how you feel now.
How do you feel after those three rounds of breathing?
What has shifted for you?
Take some time now to enjoy what you have created.
And remember that any time you need to release or reset you can come back to this practice.
And come back to your breath.
I'm wishing you an easeful rest of your day.
Thank you for watching.
God Bless.
