Hayley Zammit shares a 60-minute track of her filling up a bathtub (no talking). Running water produces a low, steady, broadband sound similar to white or brown noise. These sounds mask distracting background noise, create a sense of privacy, reduce perceived stress, and help some people fall asleep. A bathtub filling combines gentle splashing and low-frequency rumble, which can feel grounding and cozy. For some people, the gradual filling, echo in the bathroom, and subtle splashes can trigger tingling sensations, deep relaxation, and a sense of intimacy or safety. Not everyone experiences ASMR, though, it can be very individual.
