Welcome powerful hearts back to another guided meditation from my heart to yours.
Today's intention is surrendering to the water,
Releasing control.
A 10 minute guided journey.
Let us begin.
As you get comfortable,
As you start to loosen and relax and feel my heart,
My presence with you.
Today this is a space for you to let go,
Softening your grip,
Finding comfort,
Closing your eyes and breathing in with me and out.
Going again,
One more,
Breathing in,
Out.
Knowing that all that you are is here not to control but to be held,
To let go.
And we begin by bringing your awareness into your body.
Notice where in this moment you are holding on.
Maybe in your head,
Your forehead,
Your jaw,
Maybe in your stomach,
Your legs,
Your chest.
Wherever there is tension,
Take a moment to inwardly,
Quietly name it.
Holding,
Tightness,
Tension,
Relaxation,
Dis-ease,
Control.
Let your body be honest and let it show you what you are carrying here today.
And together we breathe into this space.
And imagining now,
Sweet soul,
Imagining you are standing at the edge of a calm,
Open piece of water,
A lake,
A river,
An ocean.
Whatever feels most natural to you,
See it clearly.
The surface is still welcoming,
Inviting.
There is no rush,
No pressure,
Just an invitation.
So when you are ready,
See and feel yourself slowly stepping in.
Feet touching the water.
Cool,
Gentle.
Deeper and deeper you go until your whole body is submerged,
Held,
Lovingly supported.
And it is here that I invite you,
As I also hold you,
As I also love on you,
I invite you to feel what happens when you stop holding yourself up.
You don't need to stand,
You do not need to effort.
Let your body float.
The water carries you fully,
Completely.
Noticing your instinct to control,
To adjust,
To stay alert and to tighten.
And here you get to choose to gently soften this.
You are safe.
You are safe to be held.
Let the water take the weight.
Let the water take the weight.
Feeling the flow around you,
Feeling the movement of the water itself taking anything you've been holding.
Anything that you have desperately secured for your identity,
For what you believe to be true.
Letting it dissolve.
The need to figure things out.
The expectations of others.
Let it all move from you.
You do not need to carry this anymore.
Feeling fully this shift.
As you float.
As you are held.
Is holding here.
Nothing is controlling here.
As you are fully embodying this freedom,
This trust,
This softness,
Taking a big deep breath with me.
Holding onto this awareness.
Placing it in your heart.
Knowing that you get to choose to take this with you throughout your day,
Throughout your night.
So when you're ready,
Gently,
Easefully,
Opening your eyes and coming back into the space you are in.
Feeling different,
Feeling less in control.
