Welcome,
Beautiful heart,
Back to another guided meditation and journey here with your host Harrison.
Today's intention is to help you to stay calm in a stressful environment.
This will be a 20 minute guided meditation for nervous system regulation and stress release.
Let us begin.
Closing your beautiful eyes and finding a comfortable position.
Allowing your body to settle.
You can sit or lay down wherever you feel most safe.
Letting your hands rest naturally.
Softening your jaw,
Your shoulders.
And with me taking our first mindful breath into the nose.
Out through the mouth.
And one more time,
This time with a longer exhale into the nose out the mouth.
Notice currently what it feels like inside of your body.
Helps you feel calm.
A pure,
Caring tension from your day.
Perhaps your mind is busy or your body feels tired.
Today we are practicing something very simple.
You do not.
Have to match the environment around you.
You can be surrounded by urgency and remain steady.
You can be around people who are stressed and remain connected to your breath.
You can walk through a noisy environment without allowing that noise to become your inner state.
Here with me right now.
We will connect into the inner space that is you.
That holds freedom,
That holds release,
That holds peace.
And groundedness.
Repeating after me.
I can move at my own pace.
Can move.
At my own pace.
Breathing in.
And out,
Letting go.
Feeling the weight.
Of your physical body.
Noticing.
How here in this moment.
You are present.
You are.
Supported.
And you do not have to be anything more.
Than what you are.
Taking another deep breath.
And.
.
.
Imagining now.
In your internal visualisation.
Seeing yourself standing in the middle.
Of a busy city.
People are moving around you.
Cars pass.
Doors open and close,
Voices rise.
People walking quickly,
There is movement.
Here with me,
You are standing.
Notice the contrast.
The world is moving but you do not.
Have to move with it.
As you take a slow breath now at your own pace,
Imagine.
A calm field,
A calm space surrounding your body.
Not a wall or a shield.
Simply.
A little space around you.
Space of light.
The space of balance.
Remind you that the world can continue moving.
And you.
Can remain connected.
To yourself.
Someone that rushes past you.
You breathe.
Someone speaks loudly.
Someone appears,
Stressed and angry.
Notification or a technological urgency rise.
As you feel and hear my words move through you.
This outside urgency does not have to become your urgency.
The environment can be busy.
And you.
Can remain.
Breathing into this tree.
And heart expanding.
Your calm.
Groundedness,
Your balance,
Begins inside.
And as you let the city continue to move.
You continue to breathe.
You continue.
To arrive exactly here,
Naturally.
Feeling the breath.
Continue to move slowly.
Through you.
Feeling your breath.
Bringing you back.
To this moment.
Feeling your breath allowing you to release more as we breathe in for three.
Breathing in,
One,
Two,
Three.
3.
Hold,
Hold,
And out for 4.
Going again in for three.
One,
And hold,
Hold,
Out for four.
And on.
Returning to your breath.
Seeing how this simple movement of air.
Is always available to you.
It's always here.
Be your calm in any stressful moment.
Environment.
Be your regulation.
Bigger release.
Shifting now,
Wow.
Visualization.
That's why he.
.
.
See this field of light that we have created around us remaining.
But now.
.
.
Feeling.
Our body shifting and expanding.
Feeling our vessel transforming.
Into a lodge.
Beautiful tree.
Tree standing.
Strong in this landscape.
This landscape of stress and tension and dysregulation.
The weather around it shifts.
At your branches.
Your roots.
Remain still.
Clouds overhead,
Puff.
The streams and the rivers.
Flow.
You.
As this tree remain rooted.
Remain deep.
Feeling more of your body.
Becoming the roots.
Your spine becoming the trunk.
And feeling your breath.
Move like the wind.
Through your branches.
And allowing this win.
To return that.
Which isn't yours.
To return that which you took on.
To return that.
Which has weighed heavy and caused stress.
Using your breath as the wind to shift.
Breathing.
And outshifting.
Breathing.
In and out,
Shifting.
Bringing to your mind.
Something stressful you've recently absorbed from your environment.
Perhaps someone else's anxiety,
Someone's anger.
Pressure to hurry,
Expectation to show up.
The emotional atmosphere of a room.
Notice where you feel it in your body.
And using your breath and the wind to flow this out through your tree,
Through your branches,
Through your leaves,
Breathing in.
And out releasing.
Continuing at your own pace.
Realizing that.
As this tension moves downward through your trunks,
Through your body,
Through your leaves,
Through your hands.
Of distress.
And recycle.
The stress can move on.
That you can care without carrying.
Can be present without absorbing.
Can remain yourself without the pressure of other people's emotions.
And feeling.
All of this stress.
Flowing and blowing.
As you bring your attention now.
Back to the light.
Feel the space you created around you.
As you place one hand on your heart.
Reconnecting back.
To the knowing.
To the truth of your own rhythm.
Your own.
Beating her.
Your own.
In her life.
And outer expression.
And the truth.
That this calmness this space of regulation and release you can take with you.
Eww.
Can embody in all of the spaces and places that you will show up.
Breathing in deeply to this.
So as we come a close.
Taking this choice to return with you.
Choice to slow down.
This choice to breathe and pause.
Choice to respond.
And when you step back in to any stressful environment Remember the tree.
Remember your roots.
Remember your space of light and the calmness that is here.
And when you're ready.
Turning to your body.
Wiggling your fingers and toes.
And with softness and ease.
Opening your eyes.
And stepping back out into your external environment.
Is this new?
Fashion.
Of fear.
