I Am Here Breathwork And Mantra Meditation (Relaxing)
by Jess Ryan
Need a quick and gentle reset? Feeling anxious? Need a transition before heading home from work or going to bed? This short practice uses 3-part breathwork and the mantra "I am here" to regulate your nervous system, bringing you into the present moment, and leaving you feeling calm and centered. This is the slow/relaxing version of the mantra and breathwork. It can be done laying down or seated.
Transcript
Take a full,
Deep breath in through your nose,
Exhale and release through the mouth,
I am here.
For this breath work mantra meditation,
I invite you to come into a tall seated posture with support under the sitting bones and behind the back,
Or laying flat on the ground or the couch or the bed.
Place one hand over the belly,
One hand over the heart,
And we'll be doing a three part breath,
Two inhales through the nose and exhale through the nose or the mouth.
As you breathe into the belly first,
I,
Breathe into the heart,
Am,
Breathe out,
Here.
Breathing in through the nose,
I,
Heart,
Am,
Exhale nose or mouth,
Here.
Starting to join in on this meditation at your pace,
Or you can follow my cueing.
I am here.
I am here.
I am here.
Couple more rounds,
I am here.
Last one,
I am here.
Release the mantra,
Take a slow,
Even,
Full breath in.
As you exhale,
Hands may continue to rest on the body or down by the sides.
Let the vibration of that mantra,
I am here,
Resonate through your being.
The sense of presence,
The sense of connectedness,
The sense of your wholeness.
