My name is Gabriella,
And for today,
I invite you to get as comfortable as you'd like.
That may be sitting down,
Or my preference,
Which is lying down.
And once you get yourself settled,
Start to tune in to the breath.
Not trying to change it,
Or alter it.
Just noticing where it's at.
Good job.
Find your inhales.
Notice if there is a pause between the exhales,
And let it go.
Start to quiet the mind down.
As you come into this space,
Come back to your body.
Use this time to just slow down,
Emptying the mind,
Inviting silence and stillness in.
Relax your face,
Your eyes,
Your jaw.
Allow your heart space to be open and light.
And for the next bit of time,
Lean in to the stillness.
In life,
We have the option to experience the stillness of a beautiful scene,
Of wise trees,
Of vast skies,
Of open land.
But we can also find ourselves floating into the space of chaos.
The feeling of being around busy cars,
Noise,
And constant movement.
Don't forget that the choice is yours.
The power to be still lives within you.
And whenever you find yourself leaning towards stress or chaos,
Gently remind yourself that the meadows and the vastness of land,
They also live within you.
You just have to find it and choose to be with it.
