Welcome,
And thank you for taking time to pause with me for this five minute breathing meditation.
To start,
Let's settle into your seat.
Perhaps it's in the chair,
Or on a cushion,
A place where you can find a nice long spine,
Place in which you can breathe.
Feeling the places on your body that meet the floor,
From that foundation,
Breathing in to lengthen and expand.
Breathing out to soften and find ease.
A little more length,
Expansion with every breath in.
Softness in the shoulders,
Or the jaw.
Maybe even the space between the eyebrows as you breathe out.
Softening,
Perhaps closing the eyes,
Inviting the gaze inward,
Resting gently on your breath.
And very interested in your breath.
The gentle movement,
The whisper in your ear.
Allow this breath to guide you as you linger for the next few minutes,
Holding space for you and your breath.
Welcome to your breath.
Take another smooth breath in and out.
Begin to invite gentle movement back to your body.
In your own time,
Gently blinking the eyes open and bringing your awareness back to this space.
Thank you for taking time to pause with me today.
And until our paths cross again,
Namaste.
