Hello lovely,
The seasons have turned.
We are plunged into the heat of Earth's warm breath as we curve into her summer cycle.
It's time to melt into the vibrant sense of aliveness that tingles along the edges of our skin.
It's time to let the rain paint your soul,
Drum you deeper into yourself.
Anytime you want to step up to your greater self,
Clarify a desire,
A dream or a plan,
This is a session for you.
I'll lead you into relaxation,
Guide you deeper into yourself,
Suggest a path of contemplation and then allow you to rest quietly in that space for a few minutes.
Then return and lead you back to the surface.
Let's begin.
Lean back in your chair,
Feel how it supports you.
Put your feet flat on the ground,
Let your hands open softly where they rest in your lap.
Soften your gaze,
Allow it to become unfocused,
Your eyelids to droop.
Feel how your breath naturally deepens as your body softens and becomes heavier.
Take a deep breath down into your low belly,
Sigh it out.
And again,
Breathe deep into your belly and sigh it out.
Your breath is rich with warmth and moisture.
It's the life you take in,
The release you let go of.
Every exhalation is a release,
Shifting moments,
Emotions,
Toxins.
Each exhalation creates space.
Breathe in,
Feel how much space you've created.
Sink into your seat,
Feel your sitting bones melt as you lose your edges and flow with my voice.
Close your eyes,
Softly,
Completely.
Your eyes are shut,
Comfortably shut,
Completely shut,
Sealed shut.
Relax,
Feel your breathing fall into its natural rhythm.
There's no need to do anything.
Feel my fingertips lightly touch the crown of your head.
Warmth spreads out from the point of my touch.
The warmth feels welcome.
You catch the scents of rainforest damp earth,
Emerald moss that sparkles with beads of water,
Ancient rock covered by the moss.
In your mind,
The warmth of my touch on the top of your head is an emerald glow.
The glow runs down through your head and your neck.
It flows through your shoulders,
Arms,
Elbows,
Wrists and fingers.
Jewel green glow down through your back,
Chest and belly.
Every cell,
Every drop of moisture in your body glows lush with new life.
The green glow continues through your pelvis.
You feel perfectly comfortable.
The glow pushes down through your pelvis,
Branching out like roots into your legs.
It flows through your thighs,
Your knees,
All the way down to your ankles.
It spreads out in a web of glowing veins into your feet and toes.
As the emerald glow flows through your entire body,
Your insides feel larger than your outsides.
Your feet have merged with the earth and your breath is the moisture laden air of the rainforest.
The sunlight is tinted green and feels like treasure,
Sparkling on your skin,
The moss,
The ferns,
The tree trunks,
The stone.
Imagine you are walking through the rainforest.
Look down at your feet,
Their bare,
Smudged with green moss and rich brown loam.
Birds call from high up in the canopy.
Their voices swell and ripple through the air like the green tinted gold of the sun that gilds the world around you.
It's hot as you walk,
The air is breathing with you.
You exhale to release.
The rainforest breathes out that which nourishes you.
The earth's breath,
Pregnant with possibility,
Rich with magic,
Settles on your upturned face.
You breathe her in.
You want more.
As you walk,
You let your clothing fall away,
Piece by piece,
Draped over ferns,
Tossed over low-hanging branches until you are skin to fern and her breath is settling in beads of warm magic over your entire body.
The sound of raindrops scatters over a million,
Million leaves all around you.
The thick forest canopy allows only the sound of the rain through.
Your skin tingles with need for the touch of the rain.
What do you want?
There is something you desire.
You have made plans,
Been captivated by day dreams,
Doodled in the margins of your normal life when this thing you wish for leaks through your sensible armor.
You take three more steps and stop.
There's a wall of palm fronds and fern blocking the path.
Walk right up to the green barrier.
Touch your forehead to the broad leaves.
They don't move.
Take a breath.
Tip your head back.
Lose your gaze up in the variegated green of the canopy.
Move ever so slightly forward.
Touch your chest to the leaves.
This time they sigh,
Shift and you close your eyes and walk through,
Letting the leaves brush over your bare body.
The sound of water spilling over stone calls you.
You open your eyes and see you are standing in a clearing at the edge of a rock pool.
The surface of the water dances and splashes with the rhythm of the rain.
There is a waterfall on the far side.
Dive into the pool.
The water is deep.
You glide beneath the surface with your eyes open and the world is just as lush and green underwater as it is above.
Swim over to the waterfall.
There are large smooth boulders with curves matched perfectly to your body.
Slip up onto one of them.
Get comfortable.
The waterfall swirls into the hollows and dips of the rock of your body.
I will leave you here to be washed clear of the muck that clings.
You will be shown how your dreams are possible.
Be inspired with an action to take.
If your mind wanders,
Come back to the sensation of water swirling over your body,
The sound of the rain,
The scent of the lush damp rainforest.
You are safe and loved.
I'll return for you soon.
The rain is stopping.
The clouds part and golden sunlight sparkles across the surface of the rock pool.
Slip back into the deep water of the pool.
Swim back to the edge.
Step onto the soft moss and be still.
Feel the beads of water trickle down your body as the sun warms your skin.
It's time to return to me.
Time to return to your life with new inspiration.
The deepest wisdom of yourself comes with you.
Now become aware of the pressure of your body against your seat.
Wriggle your toes.
Wriggle your fingers.
Move your tongue around inside your mouth.
Open your eyes.
Welcome back lovely one.
