Good morning and welcome to this meditation with the focus to help you connect to inner peace and start the day with an open and grateful heart.
In this meditation we are also connecting to the elements of the water,
Listening to the sounds of the waves and letting the water remind you about the constant change in life,
About adjusting to the natural flow of life,
About the waves of the thoughts and emotions that keep changing and remembering about always connecting to the awareness that always stays the same.
Make yourself comfortable in a seated position,
Remember to keep your back straight but not tense,
Your shoulders down and relaxed and your heart open.
Place one hand on your belly and the other on your heart and keep breathing deeply.
As you inhale through your belly,
Ribs and chest and exhale through the chest,
Ribs and belly.
Feel the natural flow of your breath with each inhale as your body is expanding and each exhale as your body is relaxing.
In this moment give thanks for life,
Give thanks for breath,
The precious gift of life.
How beautiful is that?
What a rich experience to be alive,
To breathe deeply,
To be able to hear,
To be able to see,
To be able to feel.
Let the energy of gratitude fill your heart up as it keeps expanding more and more.
If your hands were on your heart or on your belly you can release them now,
Place them down on your lap and keep connecting to gratitude for waking up today,
For being given another beautiful day.
Just as the water keeps moving,
Keeps flowing,
Keeps changing its shape accordingly,
We also learn to keep flowing through life,
To keep moving through many different thoughts and emotions,
Through many difficulties,
Adjusting with acceptance,
With no attachment and still remembering that underneath all these changes,
Underneath all ups and downs,
Underneath all the experiences there is the space of awareness,
The space of the soul that doesn't feel,
Doesn't think,
Doesn't talk,
That just is.
Can you be aware of this space within you right now,
The space of consciousness,
The space of observing,
The space of simply being,
Without attachment,
Just being.
In this meditation and any meditation practice you do with awareness you have a chance of connecting directly with your soul,
Maybe during your daily activities you are too much in your mind and acting too much from your ego,
Forgetting about the presence of the soul but here in this space you have a chance to connect directly with your soul,
To stay one with peace,
One with consciousness,
One with life.
For the next one minute of total stillness and silence truly open yourself up to this space of infinite peace,
To connection with life and to gratitude for this beautiful and precious gift of life that you've been given.
Let the energy of love,
Of peace be present within you as you move through your day.
Start deepening your breaths,
Guide your breaths to the spaces in your body where you feel tension.
Let this breath nourish you,
Let this breath recharge you and remember that whenever you feel too stressed or anxious,
Overwhelmed during your day just take a little step back,
Connect again with your breath and remind yourself that underneath all the changes,
Underneath all the waves of thoughts,
Emotions and situations you are the awareness,
You are love,
And that's what matters.
