Good evening love,
Take a moment to find some stillness.
Maybe you're already in your bed lying down,
Adjust your body softly or sit comfortably making sure your body is supported and you can really relax for the next few minutes.
Any movements you want to do right now,
This is your time,
Maybe gentle neck stretches or some shoulder rolls,
Whatever feels right for you right now before you come back to that stillness.
And then start really feeling your breath,
Exhale slowly through the mouth leaving the lungs empty and inhale slowly through the nose as you expand through your lungs,
Through your whole body and exhale softly through the mouth,
Just let go,
Let go of this day,
Let go of any thoughts,
Any worries you might be carrying,
This is a time just for you.
And again breathe in and a full,
A long breath out,
Reminding yourself that you deserve that rest,
You deserve that space of peace,
Of relaxation.
Let your jaw soften,
Let your shoulders drop down,
Let your belly relax completely as you keep breathing in and out,
Feel your body supported beneath you,
You don't have to hold any weight anymore,
Allow the weight of your legs to sink,
Allow your hips to soften,
Your glutes to relax and then through your back ground yourself even deeper to the earth,
Feeling your heartbeat in your chest,
Allowing a little bit more space for simply just being,
Just listening and observing.
With each breath notice how your body is naturally relaxing more and more,
How it's naturally letting go,
You don't have to do anything now,
You don't have to hold anything,
Just let yourself be and let these words,
These affirmations support you and gently soothe your whole body and your whole nervous system.
I am safe to rest,
I release the day,
My body knows how to soften and how to relax,
I am enough just as I am,
Sleep comes easily to me,
I trust in the stillness,
I am held by the earth,
I am held by the night,
I am supported,
Let yourself float in this feeling,
That softness,
That safety and surrender,
There is nothing left to figure out,
To think about,
Nothing left to do,
Just simply be here.
