Welcome in this peaceful space.
I invite you now to take a moment to pause.
Doesn't matter what's been happening,
Whatever has been going through your mind.
Right now,
You don't have to figure it out.
Just for these next few minutes,
Let's simply come back into the body.
If it feels comfortable close your eyes or just soften your gaze.
Just noticing that you are here.
In this room,
In this moment.
Your body is here.
It's always here and now.
The mind likes to go to the past,
Overthink about the past or think too much and get overwhelmed about the future.
But the body can be your anchor into this present moment.
So just noticing now where your body is supported.
Maybe it's just your feet on the floor.
Maybe it's your glutes resting on a chair or a bed.
Just feel that contact.
The weight of your body.
That stability underneath you.
And wherever you are just gently press your feet or your whole legs into the ground.
You don't have to push hard,
But just feeling that pressure,
That gravity beneath your feet.
And then slowly release.
Just soften.
And then again press your feet into the ground wherever you are,
Maybe it's the full feet or just your heels.
And then release.
Notice the difference between creating a conscious tension,
Conscious holding and then the relaxation and softening.
And then feeling your hands and bringing your hands somewhere that feels comforting to you.
Maybe it's over your heart,
Your belly,
Your legs.
There is no right place,
Just somewhere where you can feel that warmth.
And weight of your own hands.
Noticing that sensation against your body.
The warmth,
The pressure,
Maybe the texture of your skin or clothing underneath your hands just feel it and then noticing your breath as well,
Without trying to make it deeper or flow any specific way,
Just notice the simple act of breathing.
Here and now I am breathing.
The breath is moving through my body.
The breath is holding me here.
Taking 3 soft breaths like that,
Noticing your belly,
Ribs and chest.
And then again your chest,
Ribs and belly.
Your body is simply breathing and just being here and now.
Reminding yourself I am here,
I don't have to rush.
I can just take each moment at a time.
And then maybe slowly opening your eyes so you can keep your gaze pretty soft.
But just noticing the surface underneath you,
The texture,
The temperature.
Maybe any objects around you,
Maybe there is anything that makes you feel a little bit Maybe there's some source of light,
Whether it's the sunshine or a lamp in your room.
Just noticing all these simple signs of the present moment.
Your body is here.
You are supported.
And you can just take it one moment at a time.
Then maybe starting to feel a bit more into your body as you start wiggling your feet,
Your toes,
Your hands and your fingers.
Maybe you stretching your arms all the way up to the sky,
Taking a few gentle stretches with your neck,
Your head,
Whatever feels good.
Maybe giving yourself one gentle hug as well by wrapping the arms around you or bringing the knees to your chest if you like that.
Just remember that you can always always come back to your body through coming back to your breath and coming back to the present moment.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
Thank you so much for these few moments of connection.
I hope you feel a little bit lighter and a little bit more connected to your body.
Namaste.
