If you feel like anxiety levels have been rising,
This is your moment to reset,
To release any thoughts that are contributing to that anxiety while also honouring and being in non-judgment about where you are.
So close the eyes.
And settle into a nice comfortable seated position.
Reconnecting with the senses.
Reconnecting with the breath.
And taking a first mindful inhale through the nose,
Inflating the belly and then the lungs.
And gently exhale from the mouth.
Rolling the shoulders back just a few times,
Once again,
To fully land in the body.
Just giving the mind a rest and also giving the mind something to focus on rather than all the thoughts.
So directing our attention to the body,
To the breath.
And sending that breath anywhere where you may be feeling any tensions,
Whether it's the neck or the shoulders,
The jaw,
You can even stretch the jaw out.
And then just continuing to settle into stillness.
Getting more and more comfortable in the moments of silence.
And just starting by acknowledging where you are right now.
When it comes to your mental state,
Your energetic state,
And your physical state.
So simply taking in that information without labelling it good or bad.
Just assessing where you are.
And so you can then,
If needed.
.
.
Do a gentle course correction towards where you're going.
So if there are.
.
.
Quite a lot of thoughts that are of anxious nature.
We're going to create distance between ourselves and the thoughts.
Of taking a deep inhale through the nose.
Exhale from the mouth,
Beautiful sigh.
And again,
Deep inhale through the nose.
Exhale from the mouth,
Letting the shoulders drop and the jaw relax.
And again,
Slow,
Mindful inhale through the nose.
You Exhale,
Release it all out from the mouth.
So a gentle reminder that meditation isn't about not thinking or not having any thoughts.
It's about creating a beautiful space between the thoughts that arise in the mind and you,
The observer,
The presence that can notice the thoughts and then consciously choose.
To decide whether you focus on the thoughts,
If you choose to believe them,
To identify with them.
Or if you simply.
.
.
Notice them.
And then let them go.
Deep inhale through the nose.
Exhale from the mouth.
And just allowing.
And already.
.
.
Recalibrated and more mindful energy circulate in the entire body.
So you don't need an elaborate or complicating or challenging practice to shift things within you.
All you need is a few mindful breaths.
And that space between yourself.
And the external world.
Between yourself.
And the thoughts generated by the busy mind.
So allowing a more peaceful energy to.
.
.
Expand and amplify in the body and once again Just keep bringing back that attention,
That focus to the breath.
When it starts wandering off towards the thoughts.
A deep nourishing inhale through the nose.
Exhale from the mouth.
This is your moment to reset.
And to let go of everything that has happened before this sacred practice.
And just honoring how beautiful and powerful your breath is.
And how beautiful and powerful you are,
So your true essence.
Who you truly are beyond all the roles that you play in the external world.
Perhaps the labels that others have put on you or perhaps you yourself have identified with.
So moving beyond all of that,
Elevating beyond all of that.
And once again,
Slow inhale through the nose.
Exhale with a beautiful sigh from the mouth.
Again,
Just rolling the shoulders back or any other movement that you feel intuitively called to do.
Whatever the body is craving.
Or perhaps it's absolute stillness.
Whatever it is,
Just honour that.
And out.
Offering yourself a moment of grace.
And forgiveness if you've been in judgment about the anxiety or about.
How much attention you've been paying to the.
.
.
Anxiety-inducing thoughts.
And remembering.
And it's in moments of stillness like this.
That you can truly.
Recalibrate and take back your power.
Deep inhale through the nose.
Exhale from the mouth.
And just keeping the eyes closed,
But bringing the hands.
To the ground or to the mattress,
Wherever you are,
And just bringing them forward just for a moment.
And bringing the body towards the ground,
Just lowering for a moment.
Just a nice beautiful stretch.
And then Coming slowly back up.
And when you're ready,
Gently opening the eyes.
Hands together at heart to this seal,
This beautiful.
.
.
Practice.
This beautiful energy that we've created for ourselves.
And with the intention of coming back to.
.
.
Your breath anytime that anxious thoughts may arise.
Namaste.
