Safety is not usually something we find in the outside world first.
It usually begins as a gentle return within.
Even when life feels uncertain,
There can still be moments where the body is allowed to soften.
Right here.
Right now.
Bring your attention to where your body is supported.
To the surface beneath you,
To the contact points holding you.
You are not floating through this moment alone.
You are supported.
Inhaling gently through the nose.
And exhaling slowly from the mouth.
Let your body receive that support a little more fully.
Notice your shoulders.
Let them drop slightly.
Notice your jaw.
Let it soften.
Notice your hands.
Let them rest.
There is nothing you need to protect yourself from in this moment.
Nothing you need to prepare for right now.
Not just this bra.
Such as this space.
Taking a deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale from the mouth.
If your mind starts scanning for problems.
You don't need to follow it.
Can simply say.
But not now.
And return to your breath.
Taking a mindful inhale through the nose.
And exhale gently from the mouth.
And again,
Deep belly breath in through the nose.
And exhale it all out from the mouth.
Let safety be something you feel,
Not something you think about.
In this moment,
You are okay.
Even if everything is not fully figured out just yet.
Even if uncertainty exists,
As it often does.
Right now,
You are here.
And you are safe to rest in this moment.
And one final beautiful comforting and supporting inhale through the nose.
And exhale from the mouth.
And continuing with a mindful breath for a few more moments.
A breath that sends a beautiful signal to your body and your mind.
That you are safe.
Namaste.
