So hello everybody,
Welcome to this morning meditation.
So we're just going to start by coming into our meditation posture.
You can sit cross-legged,
Have your hands facing upwards on your thighs or you can just sit on a chair.
Either way just ensure you've got a nice straight posture.
Your back is in a nice straight line with your neck.
You can already start to have a sense of relaxation in your body as you take one deep breath in through your nose and a nice long out breath through your mouth.
We can do that again,
A nice deep in breath through our nose and a nice long relaxing out breath through your mouth.
We do that one more time and this time we're going to fully relax into that out breath.
Just feel that relaxation as you let go of any tension in your body that you're holding on that final out breath.
You're just going to connect with this sense of being present,
This sense of being here,
This knowing that you're alive.
The thing that exists before the I thought,
Before I am,
Is just this sense of being.
It might be a particular feeling,
It might have an energetic kind of feel to it,
A sense of vibration and knowing and awareness of all that is.
Whatever it is for you,
It's the thing that exists beyond your thought,
Beyond thinking.
It's the part of you that's always here,
Has always been here.
If you look back in your life you can't see a time where you wasn't present,
You didn't know that you existed.
The only times that feeling goes is maybe when you're in deep sleep or if you've ever had an operation and gone under anaesthetic.
There's always been this part of you that's watching,
Observing,
Seeing life unfold.
There's no sense of you in that watching or observing.
We say that you engage the watcher or use the sense of observer,
But that's just a thought.
What we're talking about exists beyond thought.
It's undescribable.
Just keep going back,
Looking within yourself until you reach this place that has no name,
Has no identity.
It's just what is.
It's the part of you that when there's a sound,
There's nobody hearing it,
Sound is just happening.
It's the part of you that when a thought appears,
There's nobody thinking it,
Thought is just happening.
It's the part of you that when there's a sensation in your body,
There's nothing feeling it,
Sensation is just happening.
Just keep going back inside of yourself until you find that space of nothingness,
Of emptiness that doesn't have any form.
Do you notice it takes no effort to stay in that space?
Any kind of effort takes you away from it.
Your kind of thinking about it is not it.
Wondering what it is or where it is or how to get it takes you away from it.
Any resistance to finding this space?
Any obstacles that are inside of you that stop you reaching this place of no name,
No time?
Just notice what that is,
But don't struggle with it.
Don't try to resist it.
Just allow it to be as it is and soften.
You notice that resistance naturally disappears.
It's only by using conscious awareness and energy do we keep our struggles going.
Do we resist the reality of what is?
Do we resist the reality of what is?
This space,
This part of you that exists beyond thought,
Doesn't identify with anything.
It's not trying to be somebody.
It's not trying to get anywhere.
It doesn't want the world to be different than it is.
It's just acceptance.
Pure acceptance of how things are right now.
Sure.
You you you And this is it this is what you're looking for this ability just to sit with what is Just allow life to fall from moment to moment To be lived from the inside out not the outside in To move through your life with grace and ease allowing it to flow Without any resistance without any struggle you you Each moment brings limitless responsibility with limited action so we just take the action that we see Takes us one step forward towards Whoever we want to be you Towards whoever we want to be in you in that particular moment you you you you There's no time here you This presence this part of you exists beyond time And it's in all things It comes out of this space of no thing of nothingness Certainly by embracing this emptiness this openness this stillness you We be at peace the total allowance for life and be with whatever shows up you you you you In a moment we're going to bring this timeless Formless Presence back into the visual field back into our day And we're just going to allow life to unfold Everything to be as it is Without any struggle or striving Knowing that who we are exists Beyond thoughts beyond our thinking mind and intellect Let everything arises from this space So whenever you're ready take one deep breath in through your nose Nice long out breath through your mouth Think open your eyes and come back to the room you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you
