Buddha said, “You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger”. Angry people pay for their anger by lost or damaged relationships and from the physiological responses in their bodies, both immediately and long term. Often depression or emotional wounds from earlier times underlie the flames of anger. This meditation is for your healing, but also to train your mind to be calmer and to think before responding. It also fosters a sense of understanding for the others involved.
