Hello,
I'm Rhys Jones,
And welcome to this Lucid Dream Incubation Recording.
What follows is a lucid dreaming story,
Influenced by one of my own lucid dreams.
It can either be listened to for fun,
Or with the intent to sow seeds,
For a lucid dream later on in the night.
If you're listening just for fun,
Then you are,
Of course,
Free to put this on at any time during the day.
However,
If you decide to listen with the intent to incubate a lucid dream,
Then we recommend listening to it,
Either just before getting into bed,
Or whilst falling to sleep.
So,
I'll now give you a moment to decide how you want to proceed.
If you decide to put this on whilst you're falling to sleep,
Then use this time now to prepare for that.
Turn off your lights,
Draw your curtains,
Get into bed,
And do whatever else you need in order to feel fully settled.
When my voice returns in a moment,
The lucid dream incubation will begin.
You come to with a sense of longing in your heart.
No visuals,
Just emotions.
In this feeling state,
You explore.
Why are you feeling this longing?
What is your heart yearning for?
At first,
You're not sure.
You probe,
Peeling back layers of emotions,
Examining each one as you go.
You feel longing,
But sadness too.
Where are these feelings coming from?
What is their source?
And so,
You continue probing,
Until,
Eventually,
You arrive at one inevitable truth.
You're yearning for love.
Real love.
A lost love.
A love for another,
For yourself.
A love that can be found again,
You're sure.
Visuals now coalesce.
You get to your feet,
And you begin to take your first tentative steps into the new environment.
As you walk around,
You find solace in the visuals manifesting in front of you.
In a flash,
There are two young children playing together.
Joyfully,
You smile,
Feeling a warmth in your heart.
You look to your left.
Another flash,
You see two teenagers cycling,
Talking busily to each other.
You smile wider,
Curious to know what they're talking about.
You look to your right,
And see two lovers,
Locked in a passionate embrace.
How lovely,
You think,
Overflowing.
You're not quite sure where you are.
Wherever it is,
It's a place of joy.
You're touched by these displays of affection,
Searching for more.
As your explorations continue,
You now find yourself in a forest,
Surrounded by slender trees.
You're not sure how you got here so quickly,
But brush off the inquiry as quickly as it comes.
You maneuver through the trees,
Weaving in and out between the openings,
Sliding sideways,
Bounding over and around.
Just ahead of you,
You hear a voice,
Coming from any one particular source,
But instead coming from the environment itself.
Always question how you arrived,
It says,
Your ears pricking up,
Intrigue piqued.
Don't wander aimlessly,
You head towards the voice,
Sensing its importance.
And so,
The trees begin to taper off,
And the forest opens up.
Are you now,
You wonder,
Once again curious as to how you arrived in this new place so suddenly.
This time,
The inquiry lingers,
And you don't merely brush it off.
In this place,
That's just how it works,
Says the voice again,
But this time,
It's taken form,
Appearing by your side,
And a soft smile.
In this place,
Everything is in flux,
And with that,
Annie finally drops.
You're dreaming,
You should have known sooner.
Lucidity now enriches the scene,
You follow this figure into yet another,
A beach this time,
An otherworldly beach,
An island of sorts amongst the stars,
Huge archways raising up your side,
Flowing with magical stuff,
Sparkling stone,
And what you can only describe,
Frothing clouds.
Everything glimmers,
And the stars above you are casting their light,
Awakening.
The stars are speaking to you,
They say,
Here we are again,
Together.
Or the figure is speaking to you,
Do you remember,
Do you remember?
They reach out to hold your hand,
Gaze into your eyes,
Lovingly.
Passion you feel for this person is palpable,
And you lean into it,
With your eyes now locked with theirs.
You lose yourself momentarily,
As of old,
You realise that what you saw at the beginning of this dream,
The children,
The teen,
Was you,
Another life,
And so flooding back,
One after another,
After another,
Flashing in front of you,
Children playing with toys,
Teens exploring nature.
You can't believe you'd ever forgotten this person,
How could you?
In the old times,
They were everything.
Ever since then,
You've been searching,
Wandering aimlessly,
Without realising it,
Trying to fill the hole to no avail.
But now,
Here,
On the beach between the stars,
You softly weep,
Heart ablaze with your love for them.
For a moment,
Nothing else exists.
Now,
A portal opens up in front of you,
And you're ushered through by the figure,
By your lover of old.
When you awaken,
We will,
They say,
We awaken,
You must find me.
They encourage you to step through the portal,
But you hesitate,
You don't want to lose them again,
You think,
Momentarily concerned,
As if sensing your thoughts,
The figure responds,
You won't lose me,
That's the point,
Stop searching in the wrong places,
And I will return to you.
And just like that,
You understand,
And the fear leaves,
You nod,
Embrace again,
Then step through.
In between dreams,
You find yourself,
Floating in the clear light,
Still lucid,
Last dream still vivid,
You want to remember it,
You think,
Upon awakening,
Not just in the morning,
You want to take this lesson back with you,
Assimilate it into your being,
To stop searching for love in the wrong places,
To stop wandering aimlessly,
And so,
You instruct yourself to do exactly that,
You stamp the memory into your mind's eye,
Playing the previous scene,
Saying out loud as you go,
Remember this,
Remember this,
Oh,
Remember this,
And so it is,
The morning,
Your new life begins.
If you listened to this lucid dreaming story,
Just for fun,
I hope you enjoyed it,
And if you listened for induction purposes,
Then I hope this parting message now,
Lucid dreaming seeds,
Have been sown,
Has been,
And you are ready for sleep,
And so,
With that,
I draw this session to a close,
Lucid dreamer,
Happy dreaming.
