
Guided Lucid Dreaming: A Partner In Time
The first phase of the meditation is dedicated to the sleep talk-down and the second phase of the meditation is dedicated to the lucid dream incubation. Today’s sleep talk-down theme is counting down from one hundred and today’s lucid dream incubation theme is a journey through time. And finally, know that even if you fall asleep before the lucid dream induction, your subconscious will still be soaking in the words and storing them for later on in the night. So, either way, lucidity awaits!

Hello,
I'm Rhys Jones and welcome to this Sleep Talk Down and Lucid Dream incubation video.
Today I'll be guiding you through the process of relaxing your mind,
Preparing yourself for sleep and then,
Once your mind space has been softened,
Sowing the seeds for a lucid dream later on in the night.
In this particular video,
The Sleep Talk Down theme will be Counting Down from 100 and the Lucid Dream Incubation theme will be A Journey Through Time.
Please note,
You're free to fall asleep at any part of this video so,
When you begin to feel tired,
Don't hesitate to follow that feeling.
If that happens during the Sleep Talk Down,
That's fine.
If it doesn't happen until the Lucid Dream Incubation,
That's also fine.
First and foremost,
Prioritise falling to sleep.
Do not wait for my permission to do so.
Follow my words until you begin to feel drowsy.
At which point,
Allow yourself to let go and gently drift away.
And so,
To begin,
Please turn all of your lights off,
Lay down on your bed and get into a position that you feel comfortable with.
Either on your belly,
On your side or on your back.
Whichever position you feel most comfortable in.
Adopt it now.
And then,
Make any final adjustments you need in order to feel fully settled.
If you haven't already,
You should now close your eyes.
And take a deep breath in.
And out.
And now,
Allow your breath to settle into a normal rhythm.
Not forcing it to go one way or another.
I want you to set an intention for the session going forward.
I want you to pledge to yourself that,
For the time being at least,
You won't entertain any nagging or anxiety inducing thoughts.
If you insist on entertaining such thoughts,
Then pledge to do it in your waking hours instead.
But for now,
I want you to remain fully dedicated to relaxation and rejuvenation.
This is,
After all,
What your bed is for.
Today we're going to do a counting exercise.
Counting all the way back from 100 to zero.
Expect one of two things to happen during this exercise.
You'll either fall asleep or you'll become highly relaxed.
Either outcome is great.
So just surf this wave with me now.
And let's see where it goes.
And as we count,
I want you to give yourself over to the process.
For the next 15 minutes,
Imagine that all that exists are the numbers.
And so,
Let's begin.

We begin the count.

We give ourselves over fully to the count.

The more we count,
The more relaxed we become.

You are now in a supremely relaxed state.
Either sleeping or on the edge of sleeping.
And so we're ready to begin.
Incubating a lucid dream for later on in the night.
By following along with my words and visualizing them as you go.
You'll prime yourself to draw upon these very same images during REM.
There's no need to follow along strictly.
Just continue relaxing and allow my words to wash over you.
Whatever images come,
Come.
And even if you're now asleep,
Know that your subconscious will soak these words in and store them for later.
So,
Let's begin.
You find yourself surrounded by rolling hills of sand.
At first you think you're in a desert.
But as you look around,
You quickly realize that this is something else.
The air has a strange static to it.
The sky shimmers with an otherworldly haze.
This is a place between time,
You realize.
Between the veil of one reality and the next.
Outside of everything you've ever known and loved.
Happy Pride Time doesn't pass here.
In fact,
It simply doesn't exist.
There's no way to define or delineate.
It's beyond that.
Beyond any logical explanation or reason.
Here you are outside of the game of life.
You're in a space that is eternal and still.
And here you are complete.
Not separated or fractured in any way.
But rather paradoxically you still sense a body of souls.
And it is fair to say that this body is you.
But there's another body here too.
And you realize that that is you too.
A man and a woman.
And off on the horizon you see a couple.
Another man.
Another woman.
And you feel no separation from them either.
You're in a space that is eternal and still.
And it is fair to say that this body is you.
A man and a woman.
And off on the horizon you see a couple.
Another man.
Another woman.
And off on the horizon you see a couple.
And you feel no separation from them either.
But to say that any of these people are truly you is a simplification,
A misunderstanding.
Again it's beyond that.
But for now these are the words we're using to describe this ineffable scene.
A scene that is both formless yet full of form.
A timeless landscape with a visual illusion imprinted on its surface.
A mirage of partners outside of time.
Holding hands.
Looking on.
Not living yet somehow living.
Waiting for the wheel of time to come back around and pick them up.
And as promised,
The wheel of time creaks back into action.
Reemerging from the void to pick the partners up.
You're being put on.
A voice whispers through the silent void.
And just like that,
Things change.
You are you again and the person next to you is.
.
.
Not.
Your partners once more in the traditional sense of the word.
Separated and cast back into the light.
This new world seems bright at first.
Both literally and psychologically.
But as your eyes adjust,
So does your mind.
And as your eyes adjust,
So does your mind.
And as your eyes approach your universe again,
Theunknown nudges the chance to face the next dead worm.
As your eyes see the weight of the earth breaks down into 11.
Washes over you,
Cleansing you,
Preparing you for what's to come.
You're re-emerging back into the wheel of time.
But this new place isn't quite the physical realm yet.
You are,
However,
On your way.
One step back and now dreaming.
But dreaming lucidly.
And later waking life will come.
But for now you're dreaming.
With your mind wide awake.
I'm dreaming,
You say,
Solidifying the moment and infusing purpose into your next few steps.
I'm dreaming.
And so are you,
You say,
Turning to your partner in time.
You share a warm smile together.
An embrace.
And then a nod.
You both know what you're here to do.
Explore,
Of course.
And so,
Explore you shall.
You have now successfully planted the seeds for a lucid dream later on in the night.
And have primed yourself to recognise it as such when it occurs.
You're now also in a state of supreme relaxation.
Fully at ease.
Either sleeping or just now ready to begin the first phase of sleeping.
And so,
With that,

Remember,
You are a lucid dreamer.
