Welcome to Daily Insight,

My name is François and in this episode I will talk about embracing uncertainty.

So get ready to expand your perspective and embrace positive change.

So,

I'm 33.

I don't own a house,

A car or even a suit.

I live out of my backpack and I don't fit the typical societal mold.

For most,

This lifestyle might not be sustainable in the long run.

Many would say I should conform,

Think about my future and just play it safe.

But really,

Being stuck in the life you don't love just to follow the norm is not the way to live.

People try to create a sense of security and certainty because it makes them feel like they can predict the future.

You know,

When you think like,

Oh I know when I'm going to live,

I know the job I'm going to have,

How much money I'm going to make,

Etc.

Etc.

And predicting the future just makes us feel safe.

But that's such an illusion.

Our world is constantly changing with new technologies emerging,

Climate change affecting your planet,

The stock market fluctuating,

Recessions occurring,

Government bodies implementing sudden restrictive rules,

Wars breaking out,

Banks crashing,

Etc.

I mean,

What is certain in your life?

Not your job?

Not the worth of your savings?

Not even waking up again tomorrow?

So many people spend their lives chasing certainty and security but they miss out on the liveness.

They grind for decades at their jobs,

Adhering to the safe path,

Only to retire with limited time,

Energy and health but hopefully some money.

Retirement to me means having the freedom to focus on doing what I love every day.

And with that,

Well,

I think I retired years ago.

I live in beautiful places,

Surround myself with amazing people and every moment feels so full of life.

The truth is,

There is no such thing as an easy life.

Whatever life you choose to live comes with effort and uncertainty.

So really,

Why not choose to build the life you want?

It's a decision I will never regret.

Thank you for choosing to spend this few minutes with me.

I hope this episode has left you with a powerful takeaway to apply to your life.

Remember,

It's the small steps we take each day that lead to significant transformation.

Follow me to not miss out on the next insight.

And remember,

One insight can change everything.

So stay present,

Stay focused and embrace the potential of each new day.

I have been dealing with mold in my apartment and my intuitive interpretation of it is that I have outgrown this life for a long time. I had this notion to look for “mold” on Insight Timer and found your Talk. Breaking the mold, YES! Those two minutes were truly inspiring and reminded me of what my heart desires. Thank you!! ☺️
