Guidance From Ironwood Tree - Poem & Talk

Grandmother Ironwood Tree is 900 years old and lives in Tucson, AZ in the United States. I visit her often and learn many things from her. In this piece, I first share the spiritual wisdom and characteristics she embodies. Then I share a poem I wrote about her that expresses this shared wisdom. My hope is that through her inspirational teachings, she will help you learn to be both strong and resilient while at the same time keeping the gentle nature of Buddha.
