Explore MeditationAsal Shokati is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Educator (with an MS Finance degree!) She teaches Restorative Yoga and Healing Ayurvedic Meditation to private clients and is on track to become a Yoga Therapist. Asal’s also worked with Emotional Release Strategies and Qigong to help others for 9+ years. She looks forward to bringing all these modalities to you! Asal finished her clinical examination in June of 2019 and received her diploma as an Ayurvedic Practitioner from Dr. Paul Dugliss at New World Ayurveda. She has received wraparound training through Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute. This led her to become immersed in the Koshic model of Ayurveda, which places emphasis on understanding the mental and emotional layers, healing therapies, and restoration of organs through emotional release. This all eventually led to her signing up to become a Yoga Therapist through the Breathing Deeply school. Being fascinated with how the body works, Asal took a deep dive into Hatha, Iyengar, Yin, Scaravelli Method, and Restorative Yoga, being both a continuous student as well as a teacher trainer. Asal is an avid public speaker, teacher, college lecturer, host, and trainer of all her favorite modalities. Asal's been featured in multiple publications including Business Insider as she consults and supports other professionals to lead healthier lives. A native of Tehran, Iran, she now lives in Castle Rock, CO. Asal paints, plays the Persian Setar, and enjoys walks in nature.
