As we begin to wind down into a deep state of rest,
Let us use breath as an anchor to turn our attention inwards.
Breathe nice and deep.
Breathe into your abdomen,
Not into your chest.
Just like when a baby is sleeping very peacefully,
You will notice the rise and the fall of the belly,
Not the chest.
This brings us naturally to a state of becoming present.
Present with myself.
Living fully in the present is quite a special experience.
The inner signs of being fully present include a quiet mind,
Which is no longer busy running stories of our past or future or of other people's lives.
All forms of resistance to the world or projections onto the world have ceased.
And there is a serene acceptance of what is happening in the world out there around us.
There is an easiness that feels like an ability to flow with the ever-changing currents of events and circumstances,
Alongside an inner wisdom that supplies the clarity not to do,
Not to just go with any old flow.
There is an inner calm that seems to give us the power to remain internally stable,
No matter what happens in our life or in others' lives.
An inner calm to be at peace,
No matter what happened during the day.
Any time your mind attempts to fly away into the future or delve on the past,
Gently turn your attention to your breath and bring it back to the present.
Notice the calm filling the inner landscape.
Fear kills.
Toandy is on the best way around drawing lives out of the light as dark clouds rise as sunsets.
Where are we?
