Hello and welcome to the Self-Worth Talk which is designed to teach you in more detail about what self-worth is all about and help you dig into your own thoughts on worthiness.

The talk also offers helpful tips and ways to help you elevate your life in the process.

So what is self-worth?

Self-worth is the sense of one's own value or worth.

It's a deep belief in your inherent value as a person.

Self-worth is an internal state of being that comes from self-understanding,

Self-love,

And self-acceptance.

You don't earn self-worth by doing worthy things,

You already have it.

Self-worth is steady and unflinching and therefore holds power to radically transform your life for the better.

Our self-worth is what runs the show in both our internal and external worlds.

In a negative self-talk,

Feelings or emotions create an outer vision of lack.

In a positive self-talk,

Feelings and emotions create an outer vision of abundance.

If you have a higher sense of self-worth you will be able to meet a loving partner that cherishes you,

Start your own business,

Ask for a promotion,

Make more money,

And live out the life of your dreams.

A high degree of self-worth means feeling worthy of good things.

So how is self-worth measured?

Self-worth is measured by your view of your appearance,

Your net worth,

Who you know,

What you do,

And what you've achieved.

The way you choose to measure your worth affects the kind of life you live.

When you know who you are and you're pleased with the person you've become,

You'll experience a sense of peace throughout life's inevitable ups and downs.

You'll believe in yourself regardless of whether you've been fired,

Gone through a divorce,

Or failed to get a promotion.

Instead of chasing things that temporarily boost your self-esteem,

Measure your self-worth by who you are at your core.

Behave according to your values and create a life of meaning and purpose.

Nothing outside of your being influences how you feel about yourself.

So let's try to get to the root of how you feel about your self-worth.

When you have a good relationship with yourself,

You have a much better chance of reaching your goals.

I want you to think about this question and answer it honestly and openly.

On a scale of 1 to 10,

How do you feel about your self-worth?

Where would you rank yourself today if 1 was the lowest and 10 was the highest?

When you think about your dreams or goals for the future,

Do you feel that your lack of self-worth is stopping you from getting what you want?

Mindset is everything.

You can say and do all of the right things,

But ultimately if your mindset is not in alignment with your goal,

Then you're going to have a hard time achieving it.

Repeat these self-worth building affirmations on a daily basis and watch how your situation changes for the better.

I deserve good in my life.

I love myself more and more each day.

I approve of myself.

I am respected by others.

I attract praise.

I appreciate myself.

Each day I am becoming more and more self-confident.

Having respect for myself helps others to like and respect me.

I know I can achieve anything.

In order to raise your self-worth and elevate your life,

Here are some simple tips to leave you with that you can put into practice.

1.

Quit the negative self-talk.

2.

Value your own opinion more than others.

Only you can know what's best for you.

3.

Stay committed.

This can easily be done by making and keeping little promises with yourself.

4.

Learn how to say no.

This can feel scary at first and uncomfortable,

But it is truly empowering once we can move past the discomfort.

5.

Step outside of fear and say yes to what it is that you want.

6.

Decide what your values are and stick to them.

7.

Prioritise yourself.

8.

Listen to your intuition.

Beautiful and insightful discussions around self worth, Fabienne. I find myself fortunate to think outside the box by realizing that self worth, much like self love, is something we need to develop internally than to seek outside.
