Today,

We'll create sacred space for your authentic voice to emerge and awaken.

Before we begin,

I invite you to find a space where you won't be disturbed.

You may wish to sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor,

On a cushion,

Or close to the ground,

Whatever feels more supportive and comfortable for you.

As you exhale,

Relaxing like a wave diving into the ocean,

Every exhale yielding,

Allowing your authentic voice to emerge.

Every inhale,

Feeling that sense of rootedness,

Connecting with the word element and letting the word element energy give your voice direction.

The next time you exhale,

Feel that from this direction,

A spreading warmth of the fire element,

Reaching from the center of your heart to the peripherals of your body.

Feeling a sense of connectedness with your authentic voice.

And the next time you exhale from that connectedness,

Feel that you are being held,

That this connection always has support.

You are held by the earth beneath you.

Through this connection and support,

Through water's surrender,

Wood's direction,

Fire's flourishing,

And the earth's holding,

Feel a sense of refinement,

A sense of revealing the essence of your authentic voice.

With every exhale,

Feeling all of these elements mix and merge.

With every inhale,

Feel them integrated,

Feel them condensing,

Feel them circulating as water gives rise to wood.

Wood is fuel for fire.

As fire extinguishes to reveal the ashes of the earth.

As from the earth we excavate precious minerals and metal.

As on the cold surface of metal,

Water condenses and the never-ending creative cycle loops into itself,

Repeating itself endlessly,

Just as your authentic voice gathers strength.

With each time you go through this journey,

With each time you commit to choosing to allow yourself to be heard rather than silenced,

With each time you build strength and confidence in your true voice,

In your pure presence.

As you integrate all five of these elements,

Circling and cycling through the creative cycle,

Allowing yourself to be reminded of this continuous,

Never-ending process of curiosity,

Creativity,

And expression.

Through this journey,

Returning to the reminder that you are a creative vessel.

And let this vessel that is you,

Support and allow the beauty and truth that is calling to you to be shown and heard to the world.

And now,

Let that come true.

Let it be heard.

If and when you feel ready to allow this practice to come to a close,

I invite you to gather all that you've received from this journey.

Let that be planted deep within you.

Let that reinforce and feed the creative cycle that is pulsing and alive within you.

Let it saturate your consciousness.

Let it enliven your being.

With every exhale,

Relaxing,

Following the water's wisdom like a wave relaxing into the ocean,

Allowing your authentic voice to be heard.

With every inhale,

Rooting to arise like the wood element,

Allowing your authentic voice to move in the way and the direction that it is being drawn towards.

With every inhale,

Feel that sense of flourishing like the fire element as your authentic voice connects you with the wisdom of your heart as it spreads from center to periphery.

From you out into the world.

With every exhale,

Feeling and remembering that your authentic voice is nourished and held always by the earth herself.

And with each cycle of your breath,

A reminder that this process,

As you move through the creative cycle,

As you repeat this journey,

This practice,

It is never complete.

It is always ongoing.

And there is always the opportunity to reconnect,

Reclaim and refine like the metal element.

Gently and slowly,

I invite you to bring both palms together in a gesture of gratitude and prayer in front of your heart.

As you exhale,

Allow your head to bow slightly down towards your heart.

And as you inhale,

Gently and slowly,

Keeping this connection with the five elements,

With the creative cycle,

With your authentic voice,

Slowly and gently place your palms on top of your heart space.

And let this gesture be a commitment to continuing to reclaim and express your authentic voice,

Your truth,

Your presence in the world.

Your voice is important.

Your voice needs to be heard now more than ever.

And if your eyes are closed,

Gently and slowly,

Let your eyes blink open.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

Until we meet again,

May your voice ring clear,

Strong and true.
