This short body scan meditation will hopefully help you to relax and be more present. A body scan involves bringing mindful awareness to different parts of the body. In this body scan, I will invite you to compassionately drop down into your body and listen to it, observing any sensation. As you tune in, it is likely you'll discover there are places you feel tightness or tension. Scanning your body and inviting in a sense of relaxation helps to cultivate an internal sense of stillness, bringing peace to your feelings and thoughts, and cultivating a deeper sense of compassion for yourself.
