Meeting me in a comfortable position on your mat with your eyes gently closed.

Feeling your hips with equal weight left and right.

Letting them become heavy.

Pressing your shoulders into the mat.

Drawing them away from your ears and letting them go.

Keeping the eyes closed.

Start to become aware of what's going on around you.

Becoming aware of any noises that are near or far.

And then letting them go.

Start to pay attention to your inhales.

Where does the breath enter your body?

Are they cool or warm?

Do they appear out of nowhere?

Are you gasping for the next breath?

Not trying to change it.

Just watching it.

Now start to pay attention to the spaces between the breath.

Are the spaces short or long?

Are you brushing to exhale?

Keeping your attention on the spaces between the breath.

Not trying to change it.

Just watching it.

Shifting your attention to the exhales.

Are they jagged?

Or calm?

Short?

Or long?

Do you find yourself not quite able to get to the bottom of them?

Or do they leave your body in a rush?

Not trying to change it.

Just watching it.

As you interfere less and stop trying to change the natural flow of your breath.

You start letting go of control.

Becoming aware of all parts of the breath.

The inhale.

The exhale.

And the spaces in between.

Bringing your attention back to the room.

Back to my voice.

And back to your body on the mat.

And when you're ready.

Start to gently blink your eyes open.
