Hello dear.
It's me again,
Your body.
I feel the discomfort too.
The stillness of the night.
Let's take a breath in and out together.
Loneliness can feel heavy,
Right?
But the great thing is,
I'm right here with you in this moment.
Without trying to change anything,
Maybe we can rest together.
Taking a breath in and out to settle.
If you like,
You may place one hand on your heart or give yourself a gentle hug.
That feels nice.
I can sense the softening and the nervous system coming to rest too,
Ever so gradually.
Now let's breathe a little more deeply.
Inhaling and exhaling with softness.
No need to force anything,
Just let your breath expand and become a little more free.
You may keep your hand on your heart or you can stay in your own soothing hug.
Or if it feels right,
You can also just let it go and place your arms next to you,
Dropping the weight of the arms into the bed.
I imagine someone who loves you deeply.
Maybe a friend,
A family member or even a beloved pet.
Maybe it's someone who's not on this physical plane or even an imagined presence of love.
Feel them nearby,
Sitting close.
You may like to imagine them looking at you into your eyes.
Maybe they're smiling at you,
Taking a step closer if that feels right.
Or maybe they gently place their hand on your shoulder.
What would they say to you in this moment?
Maybe something like,
I'm here.
You matter to me,
My love.
I see you.
You are not alone.
Now feel this connection manifesting in your body,
Flowing through you,
From your heart to your fingertips,
Through your breath and bones.
Maybe breathing with this connection,
Enjoying its warmth as you breathe in and its support as you breathe out.
Let your body rest in that warmth now,
Allowing your heart to soften.
And remember dear,
This is just one in a series of bedtime messages.
Feel free to explore the others whenever you like.
For now,
Just rest.
You may like to spend another warm and supportive moment with your loved being,
Taking in the connection that you have.
Maybe looking into their eyes,
Smiling at them for another moment.
Maybe even thanking them for their support,
For their presence.
If you like,
You can reach your hand out,
Taking their hand or hugging them if that feels right.
Or simply sitting side by side and enjoying this restful moment together.
Right here,
Right now.
Remembering you can always call your loved being to mind whenever you need them.
For now,
Just enjoy this presence,
This space you created together.
Good night.
